Going, Going, Gone! — Local services in Royal Palm Beach

Dick's is the largest sporting goods store in the country. It was started by Richard "Dick" Stack way back in 1948 as a fishing tackle store with a $300 loan from his grandmother. Today the company is headquartered in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania and it has more than 850 stores across the country. Ever since 2014, Dick's has pledged 2 million dollars a year to fund youth sports programs.

This is a clearance store by Dicks Sporting Goods located in the Southern Palm Crossing shopping plaza. Going, Going Gone! offers up to 70 percent off men's, women's, and children's clothes. They also sell sports equipment, sneakers, and other fitness/active life style accessories.

I usually shop Dick's for my Brooks running shoes. I was surprised to see that they had a lot of Brooks in my size, including a discounted pair I had just purchased for full price from the Brooks website. You can save 30 to 40 dollars off of a pair of Brooks here. The store also had a wide selection of clothing for $20 and under. Disappointed with Quality and Customer Service

I recently purchased a pair of Puma soccer cleats for over $150, and I am extremely disappointed with the quality and durability. My son used them for the first time at the NY Red Bulls training —just about 2 hours of light play—and the bottom sole unexpectedly came off entirely. These cleats are brand new, and I expected better craftsmanship and durability from a premium product.

To make matters worse, when I contacted customer service, they were unable to locate my purchase order because I misplaced the receipt. While I understand policies may require proof of purchase, I was surprised that they couldn't assist in some way given that the product is clearly brand new and defective.

This experience has been very frustrating, especially since I recently switched from Adidas and have never encountered such issues with their products. I want to warn others to be cautious and to consider the potential quality issues with Puma soccer cleats, especially at this...

Attention: Manager’s

During my visit, I found Jasmin( she has big curly hair and huge fake lashes) to be extremely rude and unprofessional. She not only displayed a complete lack of customer service skills, but also went as far as cursing at me. This type of behavior is entirely unacceptable and does not align with the standards of service I expect from your store.

Furthermore, it appeared that her friend, who was also present, contributed to the negative atmosphere. Such conduct, especially in a customer-facing role, reflects poorly on your establishment.

I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue, as employees who behave in such a manner not only harm the store’s reputation but also discourage loyal customers like myself from returning. In my opinion, Jasmin and her companion’s behavior warrants serious consequences. Please do better with hiring people who create a better atmosphere...
