This was my second time giving this location a chance. As a resident in Wellington this location would be the nearest from home. As a minority moving from NY to Wellington was a huge step for us. We visited first watch last month on a Sunday after church. The places is beautiful. We asked that if possible can we sit outside as we have a 6 year old with autism and didn’t want to bother anyone dinning in. The the host stated that he couldn’t sit us outside as it was a busy morning and all they can give us was a table inside. We decided to tell him that we’ll rather wait for an outside table. He was bothered by that and didn’t excuse himself to go outside to check. He then returned and said he have a table outside. When couldn’t believe what we saw outside when we sat down. It was about 3 other tables open. I could not believe it. So we just brushed it off as a child of God we forgive and move on. Today we visited the restaurant again. This time my autistic daughter wanted to sit inside. We explaining to the waitress about her autism and didn’t want to be seated next to anyone if possible. So we found a table in a corner. As expected my daughter was hungry and was having a little melt down. People started complaining and some telling us we needed to calm her down in a rude manner. We explained her disability and told her she’s only 6 years old. People just started getting up and leaving. We was getting mean looks from everyone. The staff failed to keep a safe environment for all. I felt depleted. So we didn’t even get the chance to order food. Had to just go home with my daughter having a huge meltdown and hungry. I’m so heart broken about certain residents in my area. The staff in first watch. We will never return to this location again. We’ll just order uber eats since my baby likes...
Read moreThe food & service are consistently slow, incorrect, or cold for take out services. There is an appearance of lack of management, or lack of concern. Their apologies do not appear genuine, just a rehearsed line out of necessity. It’s unfortunate because when we have dined in; there has been no issues. Take out just appears to be a second concern. You wait for your food by the designated area, and your staff usually just walk by you without any acknowledgement. It might not be in their eyes, but perception is reality.
Not only did you fail at the restaurant level, but you failed miserably in the recovery level from guest services I have emailed Jennifer Cunnane on two ocassions since she has stated that she cannot find the store location due to technical difficulty. If she had taken the time to read the initial complaint regarding the actually store in Royal Palm Beach on Southern Blvd. Nobody at the store level has made any attempt to reach out to apologize. At this point, it is more annoying & frustrating that you can't even apologize correctly without messing up he apology . It's not worth my time & definitely not worth to spend my money at any of your FIRST WATCH locations in the near future, and will let my friends, neighbors & social media associates know of the poor initial experience, and even worse recovery.
You have my e-mail in your letters between myself and Jennifer along with my phone number, so I don't feel it's worth my time and energy to repeat the same thing to fall on deaf ears. You need too improve on so many...
Read moreI should of left as soon as I walked in…. First when I checked in I wasn’t even acknowledged. I stood there and the hostess went around me to welcome and greet the family behind me. Like if I wasn’t standing there. Finally when the man at the counter told the hostess that I was next she then came to check me in. Yet she apologized to the family that was standing behind me. Not sure why… I was instructed to wait outside and it would take Atleast 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. After waiting for over 35 minutes i decided to ask, comes to find out I had been removed (somehow) 😕 from the list. The guy that was at the cashier made a way that I was seated immediately. Again the hostess didn’t seem to care. Fast forward to the food. I order sweet tea and I don’t think they understand what south Florida sweet tea is. It tasted like watered down tea with a pinch of sugar. Then there’s the food!!! I ordered 2 meals and received something totally different. The waiter thought that I was illiterate or something and couldn’t understand the menu. She informed me that she changed it because with the waffle was considered a different meal. When I ordered 2 different meals. I intended to get 2 different meals. She literally gave me what the hell she wanted to give me. I guess if you’re not a certain skin tone you don’t get treated with a smile or a simple hello. The hostess needs to be in the back washing dishes and they guy that did take his time needs her job! And as for the waitress she needs to learn that what a customer orders it’s what a...
