If you have read other reviews of mine, you know I always start off with my history. Short version is I travel all over the World with business, which gives me opportunity to eat Indian Food (and others) all over the World. Sometimes I find hidden gems, other times I find stones. Masala Mantra Indian Cuisine is absolutely off the charts fantastic and a total hidden GEM! I literally just ate the finest Lamb Rogan Josh I've ever had. Stunning bouquet of flavor in the curry, the lamb was very well portioned and cooked to Total Perfection. Your fork would fall through the lamb it was so tender. I did plain Naan which was of course fantastic, authentic and perfectly cooked. Slurped it all down with a Taj Mahal. Usually I write a lot more descriptions of the flavors, but this was such an overall flavor explosion that I don't think I can put it into words. Truly the finest Rogan Josh on the planet to date for me. I've eaten Indian food in the UK, Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, pretty much every single state in the US short a handful. This place is for sure top five overall experience, and Number One Lamb Rogan Josh. The ambience of the location is upscale and nice. Great place to bring a date, also a nice place to bring the family. Table servers were top-notch, very attentive but not intrusive. 10/10 Experience! Update! Say YES to the Chocolate Dessert! Holy Moly! Also there...
Read moreI found the Indian restaurant to be dissatisfied experience, but I was disappointed by the limited vegetarian options and lack of variety. The prices seemed excessively high for the portion sizes, leaving me feeling like it was not the best value for money. Overall, an okay choice for non-vegetarians, but vegetarians might find better options elsewhere.
Additionally, I noticed that the food leaned heavily towards being excessively salty. The high salt content overshadowed the nuanced spices that make Indian cuisine unique, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dishes. It's worth considering for those who prefer a more balanced and authentic flavor profile in their Indian dining experience.
The taste of the food seemed tailored towards those unfamiliar with authentic Indian flavors, possibly diluting the true essence of the cuisine. It may appeal more to individuals with a limited understanding of Indian culinary traditions, which could be disappointing for those seeking a more genuine and robust taste experience.
The restaurant's service was notably slow, we waiting for 25 minutes for appetiser and 30 minutes after that for the main dishes, which added to the overall dissatisfaction. Waiting times were extended, affecting the overall dining experience and leaving room for improvement in terms of efficiency and customer...
Read moreI was out for dinner yesterday. I can tell that there are about 3-4 Indian restaurants in the area 1) raja 2) aroma 3) Indian grill. I can one thing for sure. None of the restaurants are truly “Indian” food. None of them compare to the quality you get in New Jersey or California ( San Jose) . I saw items like pav Baji fondue n stuff… why? How hard is it to serve authentic dhaba style food ? I’m sure you would get the support automatically if you did that. You needn’t do belly dancing etc to get people. It was so chaotic and noisy.. if you’re passionate about brining the best Indian food, visit Delhi or Punjab and touch your heart and tell me how it compares to what you serve here. Not sure if this restaurant is targeted at non Indians who don’t know beyond chicken tikka masala but, on the whole, another mediocre restaurant to the list of 4-5 that we have here. If you are an Indian reading this restaurant, and desperate for nice Indian food , go to Bombay street or urban gully in Orlando. That’s your best bet. There is a Nepalese restaurant in Tampa that’s also good. I don’t mean to offend the people running these restaurants. It’s just coming from a heart of...
