One of the rudest interactions with another human I’ve had in along time, I slept on it I’m still in shock that I was treated this way by a staff member and I’m not alone because there is another similar review for this same location.
I arrived to the restaurant around 8:30PM, saw they were closing soon. So me and my friends decided it was best to do carry out instead of dine in as to not make the staff stay late or have to work harder cleaning up after us etc.
We walk in the staff is seemingly annoyed we were there, we quickly order at the counter, spent $70 and tipped 20% on a carry out order which is a significant amount $15 tip for a to go meal.
We kindly waited outside as to not be in the staffs way, sat down at one of the tables outside on the patio, the waitress quickly ran over to ask if we needed to order or if we were getting food to go, I thought a kind gesture, but I guess not.
15 minutes goes by the cashier hands us our food, the second I open the box to look at my pizza the waitress runs over and in a very very aggressive tone tells us “so are you dining in or getting it to go?” I looked up at her and she continued “if you’re not dining in you need to get up and leave, we’re closing you need to go, get up.” Simply kicked us out.
Meanwhile there are about three other tables outside with people at them eating still.
Absolutely shocked at this situation, we got up walked over to our car right outside the patio and ate our pizza on the hood of the car.
We had guest leaving coming up to use apologizing at the situation saying that she was very very rude and they’re appalled and feel sorry for us, one of them encouraging us to go confront the waitress for being rude, but I did not.
the staff locked the doors and left the tables outside, they didn’t put them away like I assumed was the reason she wanted us to leave.
I truly cannot understand, it’s not as if we were using plates and cups that would have needed to be cleaned up after, or that it was a busy restaurant with customers waiting for tables.
We ordered, we tipped, we served ourselves, we were kind to the staff, but ultimately they were rude to us.
I have purchased a pizza from here almost every week for the last three months, sometimes multiple pizzas for parties. dine in, carry out and delivery have been how I’ve enjoyed this pizza. I even recognized the waitress as she’s been my server several times before. I don’t know if I’ll be back to this location after how we were treated.
If it was simply an issue of the waitress wanting the tips since we sat in her area, then she could have asked the cashier to handle that situation without being absolutely disrespectful to people who come to support the place where she earns her living, not sure I’ll be back...

This place is a hidden gem, bringing the distinct and revered flavors of New Haven-style "apizza" to South Florida, and they do it with incredible style and a commitment to quality. Upon walking in, you're greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is fantastic, offering a level of customer service that makes you feel like a valued guest, not just another order. This genuine hospitality elevates the entire dining experience, making it a place you’ll want to return to again and again. But let's get to the star of the show: the pizza. The New Haven style is all about a thin, perfectly charred crust that's both crispy and chewy. Ah-Beetz nails this perfectly, with a signature "char" that gives the pizza a unique and delicious character. We ordered the White Pizza and the Pepperoni, and both were outstanding. The White Pizza was a revelation. It's a simple yet elegant masterpiece, with a harmonious blend of mozzarella, pecorino romano, garlic, and olive oil. The crust provides the perfect, sturdy base for the rich and savory toppings. And the Pepperoni? Absolutely elevated by the addition of their hot honey. The spicy-sweet drizzle cuts through the richness of the cheese and the slight saltiness of the pepperoni, creating a flavor combination that is nothing short of addictive. It’s a game-changer and a must-try. Ah-Beetz is a place that understands the craft of great pizza. From the high-quality ingredients to the perfectly blistered crust and the exceptional service, every detail is considered. It's clear why they've earned a reputation as one of the best pizza spots in the county. Whether you're a New Haven apizza aficionado or a newcomer, you’ll be an instant fan. We can't wait to go back and try more...
Read moreMy husband and I went to the Ah-beetz in Royal Palm. The service was great and our server was awesome. (Sorry I can't remember her name) Anyway, she asked us if this was our first visit and we said yes. She went on to let us know how the pizza and wings are made before we ordered. 👍🏽 So we ordered pizza and wings it didn't take very long and when the food came out it was nice and hot and looked great and tasted great. The pizza is charred on the crust but that is because of the way it's cooked. The pizza itself is a thin crust and a lot of toppings. The crust was not too big and if you like the crust like me, it was good. My husband had the wing chili something and of course I didn't eat them because they were not fried, they were cooked in the same manner as the pizza. (Personally it's me , I don't like wings like that) My husband said they were very good. We ordered a large pizza and 10 wings, way too much for only two of us. We brought the rest home and it fed my daughter and her 3 friends. So the portions are nice. The sauce is not sweet on the pizza. The price was a little high - lg pizza was about $19 and the sides for lg were $3.50 each, and 2 drinks with free refills came to about $52 before tip. Prices are going up. Anyway, inside the restaurant was dim, not sure if it was the ambiance or just the lights were turned down. There are a lot of pictures on the walls to look at, which was nice and little sayings on the wall to keep you occupied. Lol. I told my husband that this place was my new pizza spot. It just reminded me of home. If I'm remembering correctly they have a...
