Apr. 2024- I had to add an update to last yrs review. I brought a friend to see the shop. My intent was to add a few more items to my collection. This was the worst experience after last years visit. I had asked 2 people to help me. ( there where 4 CUSTOMERS IN THE ENTIRE STORE just looking) The first girl never came to see what I wanted to look at. The second girl did come to help, but in the middle of her showing me a few items, she just walked off and sat down. I intended on getting a pair of 120$ earrings but wanted to see the other items. She never returned but felt talking to a sales girl and unwrapping merchandise was priority so, I left. In another shop, I relayed my experience. The clerk told me that it is a very common occurrence. They can be very rude to customers and can care less about them. Last review: Service excellent, selection out of this world. My ring did lose a stone in less than a month. Looked to be a return that was sized poorly. Was not expensive, but the bracelet I got is of a higher quality. This really is the best stop if you like American Indian Jewelry. PS update yr later. I am not sure if I will return after the experience. My friend said the girl waiting on her turned her completely off with her attitude, and she promptly left. Now a very...
Read moreThe folks who own this place are extremely judgmental. I’ve personally experienced snobby looks from the white woman working the bead counter and felt “watched” as my friend and I innocently browsed. I didn’t think much of it until I recently learned that a close friend friend of mine and her mother were point blank accused of shoplifting by the owner and followed around the store as they browsed. They were told “it’s our job to follow you around the store”. The owner of this place also told them, “We have everything on camera, and you need to leave and never come back.” Although the owner could not provide an explanation for what was supposedly “on camera”. One could argue the above experience with these shop owners was racial profiling. I did not leave this shop with the best vibes when I visited - something told me I was being judged and watched everywhere I went (I present as a more masculine female who is clearly of the LGBTQIA spectrum) - and that feeing was confirmed by the story I recently heard from my close friend (Hispanic/LatinX) about the experience described above. For what it’s worth, this place lost...
Read moreNormally I won’t write a bad review because we all have our days, but the other recent reviews say she was rude and made them comfortable as well and it sounds like recently someone new is running based on what I read… This place had what I wanted and needed, but the lady who answered the phone was VERY rude, so I didn’t go. I needed 3 items and was coming from an hour away so I called first. She immediately got very rude with a nasty tone when she answered the phone I said “ Hi, I was calling to see if you guys had a few crystals in stock” and then she said “how am I supposed to tell you if I don’t know what they are “ to which I said “ well I was about to tell you”. I’m obviously going to tell her why Im calling before randomly listing off crystals… so I then listed them and she said she had them all. Then to top it off she mocked my pronunciation of a crystal. Very brief conversation. What the heck. I just want to spend money at your store. 2 stars because at least they do have a...
