Win Place & Show Bar & Package Liquor Store — Restaurant in Ruidoso

I am the third generation in my family to get to visit WPS. I remember as a kid listening to my mom and grandmother tell stories of their fun times, so when I turned 21, WPS was definitely on my short list of places to go. My husband and I always plan multiple visits when we are in Ruidoso, in fact you might say we plan our trip around Friday and Saturday night dancing 😂. The customer service is top shelf, your drink never gets empty, and the beer is always ice cold. The best part is the band plays good classic country music that you can dance the night away to. Every time I have brought a friend with me to Ruidoso, I take them to WPS, and they always tell me how much fun they had and what an awesome place it is. WPS is definitely a Ruidoso staple and is one of the reason I keep coming back year after year. I hope one day my kids get to tell me stories about their experiences there, and hopefully not much has...

I’ve been to the bar and the liquor store and I am always satisfied with the customer service. The owner is super nice and she is always helpful with questions we may have on any liquor. They do have a good selection.

The bar is always fun and the bartenders and other guests have always been nice. Very friendly atmosphere with good country music. The crowd had people ranging from young to old and I enjoy that. It’s a good mixture.

The bathrooms were very clean. The bouncer nice, the prices reasonable. They also have live music often, follow them on Facebook and Instagram for upcoming events and info. They also have a patio with Axe Throwing and they do hold contests....

Me and my family came to throw axes and we had a blast! My kids (17 and 11) had so much fun and Stevie was awesome and helped them perfect their throws...too much maybe because they beat me and my husband! We went in to get something to drink and there was a live band playing. If we didn't have kids with us, we definitely would have stayed in the bar. It wasn't filled with smoke and the vibe was super cool!! The women working were really nice also!! We will make this place part of our yearly...
