*BE CAREFUL MAKING APPOINTMENTS WITH ALEXIS!!!!!! I recently had a cut and color with Alexis. During the color she asked me if I had any salon "horror" stories, which I couldnt come up with anything that awful that had happened to me... Until now. I can definitely mark this one down as my worst experience. Quite a few things to list, and mainly listing all of this so maybe I can save others from going through the same thing. I was never told pricing until the end of the appointment. I will take partial blame for assuming instead of asking, but I've never,( out of all the different times I've gotten my hair bleached since I was 12, I'm now 30) been charged by the bowls of bleach used. Alexis happens to have a heavy hand with applying bleach, so she went through quite a few bowls. I "assumed" I was going to be there 3 to 4 hours tops and paying no more than $150. I ended up spending 6 and a half hours there and paying $300!! With a response from Alexis saying "sorry, I used more bowls than I thought." The owner was there to help out thank goodness, because she pulled Alexis to the back during the middle of the coloring to tell her to put another color on the hair left out of the foils because it was going to look horrible if I walked out with the color I came in with and the new blonde. Lori ended up helping her finish my hair.Other comments made throughout the whole thing that werent comforting were "your going to have a salon horror story by the time this is through," and "I don't deserve her (Lori) help, but thank God she is helping me!" When I finally left my stomach was so twisted because I never would have made the appointment if I knew I was going to be handing over all of my money. And also because I had my sons birthday the next day and I still had to do shopping for food and putting together goodie bags etc. Which I didnt get to do because the stores were closed by the time I left and I didnt have the money I had planned to use! I messaged Alexis with no response from here, but Lori did call me the next evening offering to fix my hair cut because when it was in a pony tail, one side was 3 inches longer than the other. Still nothing from Alexis, and to top it all off, the baby hairs at the bottom of my hair and neck, I asked her not to bleach because they have broken off in the past and I finally had them grown out again, and she promised she would watch them to make sure they disnt get burnt. Well guess what? They are now about 1 to 2 inches long and poke straight out when my hair is up because they got fried from thw bleach!!! Sorry this is so long but if your still reading I really appreciate it! Ive waited almost a month now to hear from Alexis to say something?! I paid three hundred dollars for a lot of mistakes and no apology! I think I deserve at least $150. Dollars back. And that's being generous. I doubt I will get anything back, including a phone call, but that's why I'm writing a novel here, to maybe help someone down the road to avoid going through this with Alexis. All in all, at least Lori cared enough about customer satisfaction and I wasnt even her client. So... I do not recommend making any appointments with Alexis, and if you do, make sure you have her get the facts straight before hand so your not disappointed and...
