TL;DR- booth owner gouging prices at 266%, and left a tag indicating what the item was purchased for. Item went from $15 - $39.95.

I would love to give this place more stars, however my experience was rather due to some rather bad business practices. I found in a booth a set of blacksmith tongs, which if bought would have been used to teach students blacksmithing, and a good condition 8" keen kutter drawknife. I have been wanting to get a drawknife for sometime, so I looked at this one with excitement, until I saw a price tag of $39.95. Even then it was still a nice piece, but looking further I saw a taped on tag that said $15.

I took the drawknife up to the front counter to inquire which price they would honor. The clerk, who was not an owner of the shop, and since this was a consignment shop, called the booth owner to verify. She called this "a predicament" over the phone to the owner. After discussing with the owner the situation the owner opted to take off the $15 tag and not budge on the price at all.

It seems that this booth owner went to another shop, bought the drawknife for $15, then took it to his booth and decided to sell it with a 266% markup. When confronted, rather than owning up to the mistake and at least offering to split the difference or discount the item, he lost a sale not just on the draw knife, but on the tongs as well.

A little extra information. In other booths if the seller wasn't willing to adjust the price, the tag was marked as such. This tag was not marked to indicate the price was not flexible.
