A-Frame Cabins — Hotel in Ruidoso

We had wonderful family vacations here as kids. As we got older we hoped to make the same great experiences with our kids but something clearly changed. It was probably management. We were accused of not leaving the place as we found it and we were charged a cleaning fee. I honestly don't know what we did wrong and when i called to inquire the woman said we left ice cream in the freezer and the oven was dirty. She also said we didn't make the beds. Wait a minute, arent you going to wash the sheets for the next renter?? Ewww did they wash the sheets before we checked in?? I had no idea we were expected to clean every nook and cranny. I will never go back. There are to many other great places...

Worst experience ever had just checked in and went inside and smelled horrible everything is old and dingey all the furniture and bedding is probably from the 80's soft spots in the floors so we decided we didn't want to stay and the manager said there are no refunds and that was never said to us or posted in the office so I had him call the owner who was immediately rude as hell and insisted that we had used the bathroom and all we did was walk inside for 5 minutes so he said that he would have to get it cleaned and said that I was lying and didn't fully refund us i even offered to pay a cancelation fee everything is falling apart...

I'll definitely NEVER stay here again. The cost is outrageous to rent, and for the amount I was charged, I would expect better. Especially as out dated as everything about the cabins are. Everything you walk on or lay on creeks and cracks like it's going to brake, no insulation, no air conditioning, no shampoo and conditioner, no trash bags, and the sheet to the pull out bed from the sleeper sofa is ancient and hasn't been washed in a long time. My family and I enjoyed ourselves regardless, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because the quality is not...
