Hershey's Farm Market — Local services in Sadsbury Township

Adorable little farm market! Stopped in for fried chicken under a recommendation from a client. It was just awesome - crispy and juicy. Loved the selection of small batch jarred products from vegetables to jams. They carry packaged bulk candies and have a table full of baked goods, including dog treats and cookies. They have fresh honey (bee hive right in the store!) There is an interesting variety of spices and dry seasonings and sauces. The meat case has some rare selections, plus there is a deli counter where they slice to order. In addition to all that, they have fresh priduce. I grabbed a huge fresh head of cauliflower for only $1.99, a dozen peanut butter cup cookies, and a pack of doggy biscuits. Now that I have discovered this place, I will be back, and soon because they had the most beautiful selection of hanging baskets at the entrance and I have my eye on one I wasn't able...

Besides their meat section, in which they have a good selection of even imported Meats they're grocery side are very slim they have a vast proportion of baked goods small can aisle they have a ice cream section there and if you want fast food they also have fast food there too overall give them three stars because it's a little pricey higher than your average Market stores. bathrooms are clean. If you need things to prepare for a holiday like say Thanksgiving it's better off to go to a market they don't have any aluminum trays to fit a turkey or a ham. again the biggest selection that they Pride themselves in is the meat selection which is very good they got a good meat bundle that is pretty decent still pricey but I think it would be worth it because they have good quality meats. We are frequent (weekly) shoppers at Hershey Farm Market in Parkesburg PA. We love the food quality, freshness and taste. On Tuesday May 23, 2023 at 6p, there was no ground sirloin in the meat case. Typically the staff would graciously go to the back refrigerator and pack up what was needed. This did not happen yesterday. Instead the young kid brought out prepackaged frozen ground sirloin. I asked, is this all you have is frozen meat? Gave me a smirky grin and said yes. Found it hard to believe all the ground sirloin meat was frozen. Makes me wonder how the meat is defrosted for the next day when the store opens at 9am. We will definitely continue to shop at Hershey Farm Market but will resist service from this young kid whom appeared to be lazy and could care less about customer...
