I was stranded at a marina at closing time having locked my keys in the trunk. The marina called pop a lock and I was told it would be 30 minutes. It was over an hour. With the little bit of phone charge I had left I called the first one on google. It was them. Then I was told that the dispatcher had written my number down wrong and it would be an additional 30 minutes. After telling the dispatcher how I felt she said she would contact the technician. I confirmed the amount and magically the price had just gone up $10.00. I complained and she said, "oh yeah, ok 49.95. The technician arrived and was very helpful popping the lock in no time. He ran my credit card and scratched his head and stated it was "unavailable" so he ran the card again. Then said "oops" then informed me that I had been double charged 99.90. When I arrived back home I looked at my bank account and much to my surprise I was charged 49.95 AND 99.90. When I contacted the company it was like pulling teeth to get to someone to speak to. I suppose a supervisor contacted me back promising me that it would be handled quickly. This has been nine days and I have only seen the one adjustment for 49.95 but they still need to refund me another 49.95. Don't understand how it can be immediate to take my money but over a week to...
Read moreI've never had a problem with pop a lock, until this last came out. And not to mention I was left stranded In The DARK until my insurance company had another service provider to come out and assist me. But this woman had some guy, over the phone, telling her to tell me, that it was my Starter in my Corvette, that I Just paid $600 to get from the shop with a complete maintenance with extensive diagnostic to be sure Every Thing is running proper on her. And they was so argumentative when I told the lady is definitely not the starter.. I just need A Jump. In which is what I called in for. She didn't know how to connect the jumper box to my Corvette, and she Wouldn't Listen to me as The Owner either. I kept trying to explain to she and the guy she had on the phone that I left the mirror lights on and it drained a Brand New $200 battery, and even as she seen the lights and car come on when she used my jumper cables to connect to her own vehicle, but still they jelly trying to insist it was My Starter. So frustrating with the got want even there, but had More Authority. They really need to Re-train on how to use that jumper box if they want her to fill ...
Read moreThe technician Pop-a-lock sent was good at his job, he had no issues unlocking the car without any damage. I was very happy for that. However, I CAN’T say the same thing about the lady in the office. She lied through her teeth about how long it would be before a tech would arrive. I was originally told 30 minutes to an hour. When I called back to check an hour & 5 minutes later, she got defensive with me saying they still had another 15 minutes left in their arrival window. Not true, it’s too easy with today’s technology to look at my phone and get the timestamp of the calls. She went on to lie more by guessing when the tech would arrive and told me it would be 15 minutes. Well, 24 minutes later I receive a text from the technician stating he was 20 minutes from arriving. If these people were honest about the arrival time, I would have called a tow truck or locksmith. Instead they straight up lied to me to get my business. My vehicle was running for almost 2 hours because of their lie. I cannot in good faith recommend a company that needs to lie to you in order to get...
