Venus Nail Lounge — Local services in Safety Harbor

My friend went here and the nail tech polished her toes horrible, streaks, messy and uneven. She had them redo them with a different tech and polish. Because she had time and is much more assertive than me. I walked in yesterday with limited time so I had regular polish. Manager warned me that it takes time to dry but I was looking for a week to protect my nails and get dip next week. Didn’t care about any small dents but I did not get any. The gentleman was very nice but smelled like cigarettes. Yuck. He should have thrown out the polish after the first nail because it was old, left streaks and did not last. The polish did not dent it started peeling off by that night and 2 days later it is horrible. I could go back for a fix but he used the dremel to remove my dip and the Cuticle scissors. He nicked my skin and this is why I won’t go back. Some places are reddened and I will put antibiotics on today in case. Maybe it’s the porous wooden bowl he used to soak my fingers, I work in the health field, I should have protested. I also noticed that he did not use any packaged sterilized instrument. As I said I have worked in the health field and in a micro lab and have a strong knowledge of infection control so I am very picky about this and multi use instrument and this is the biggest reason I won’t go back. Especially since some of my fingers are red where he cut them. In picture Left pointer is reddened and right pinky is red with scab. Venus Nail Lounge is far and above the BEST Mani/Pedi spa I have EVER BEEN TO. It is ABSOLUTELY STERILE to say the least, the product lines they offer are just incredible, prices are super reasonable, the chairs are the most comfortable I have ever sat in and I love the feeling that you are not in a nail shop but in a true Spa environment including and write down to the music in the background a as well. You don’t have to spend a fortune to get an INCREDIBLE PEDICURE (or Manicure) !!! I have referred everyone I know there and each and every one are already loyal customers like myself (including my brother, LOL) The Shop it self it Gorgeous, the technicians are so talented & go that extra mile to make you feel completely relaxed to have that Spa / Nail Lounge experience. I also referred a friend that is the Pickiest, most money conscious individual you have ever met in your life… She was blown away and all she could say was “WOW”,… “Wow” and started going there weekly directly after her first pedi that she had at Venus!! Went and got a fill with gel and pedicure on Saturday and it was an absolutely luxurious experience! I did not have to wait at all to be helped which was a bonus. The first tech who did my fill was so thorough and my nails look amazing! He cleaned up my cuticles and the skin around the sides of my nails in addition to the fill. I got a simple single gel color and round shape and they’re exactly the length I want. The second tech who did my pedicure was equally as amazing! I chose the tropical pedicure. He gave me a heated neck pillow which enhanced my experience and the pedicure was fantastic. He did a great massage and I also did not feel he was rushing through it. The services were reasonably priced and the salon was clean and everyone was kind. They also have an extensive polish selection for both regular polish and gel colors.
