I ordered these pizzas to try the gluten-free and to try infinity. I’ve never personally been here, I’ve had friends that have gone here and has suggested it. I didn’t get a chance to go inside, I had it delivered this time.
First off, I’ll touch on the gluten-free aspect . They give two options, cauliflower, or a regular gluten-free crust. I opted for the regular one because most places do cauliflower now. It is a crispy crust and thin, but it is tasty. It doesn’t taste like cardboard or anything like that, obviously it doesn’t taste like the real deal. I have to say I miss a good pizza crust. But this is all right.
As for the pizzas itself, the flavor is pretty good. The Moon Knight I would definitely do again. That one’s delicious!
The kingpin, not as great. Not a lot of flavor. The tomatoes are just regular tomatoes, so they tend to suck up any flavor and there wasn’t near enough balsamic vinegar. There were two lines of balsamic vinegar across the crust at the end so holding the pizza to eat it difficult because it was sticky. I would definitely more balsamic vinegar and to keep it away from the crust next time if I got it again.
Edit to add:
I did finally go in this place with my family. It’s not bad, definitely for older kids. Now something that is peculiar to Safety Harbor, the place smelled like bad plumbing. This is not the first business and Safety Harbor. I’ve had this experience. I don’t know what happens but The smell permeates the area.
Otherwise, the staff were great. The food was great and the...
Read moreNOT INFINITY PIZZA!!! The good reviews/rating/pricing no longer apply as this is just a bar using the reputation of the previous business. The service was depressing and the vibe was off. Upon walking in, there's an offputting smell and prepared to feel baked under the chaotic lights. If you have a small child, be prepared to wait 15 minutes for a highchair that they borrow from the hair salon next door. We called ahead for a party of 8 and there was like maybe 2 and a half tables of people there, but the staff will ignore you and act overwhelmed if your order anything beyond an alcoholic beverage. 45 minute wait for apps and an hour for your pizza. There's no consistency as their garlic knots and marinara are good but the pizza will look good but the dough will be thick&thin all over, almoat no sauce and heat-lamped stiff, making the crust hard. The pricing is way too high, $22 for a medium and $30 for a large with $2 toppings. Soda is $3 and you will have to beg for a refill but only some of you will actually get one. You will get checked on only once 5 minutes after getting your food and thats it for the next hour. Ask for the check multiple times and watch as they forget you existed. Overall we felt duped by them using the old business website and ratings. We will always be polite, but letting people know the truth is...
Read moreLet me start by saying the ordering process online, the ready time and the pizza being ready and hot at pickup was perfect as was the staff being friendly and the restaurant impeccably clean. 4.5 stars for them there. This review is for the pizza though.
I ordered a 14" cheese and added garlic to half in order to get the base flavors of the pie. I ordered it well done and it looked done to perfection and was a very good looking pie overall. Some scorch marks in all the right places, and a perfect covering of cheese.
I instantly grabbed a slice before even leaving the parking lot. The cheese did not break from the pizza as I thought it would. Instead of a stringy gooey pull it looked more grainy like as if it were a cold pizza. My first bit seemed awkward, although the pizza was very crispy it was difficult to separate a bite from the slice. Chewing was likewise and the garlic chunks were still very firm and needed chewing to swallow.
None of this I would consider a BAD pizza, just not what I had hoped for. The main problem and reason for this review was that the pie just didn't have much taste at all. Weather it was the crust or sauce I do not know, but in general just a bland pizza and not worth $16 for a Medium. It's not bad but there are much better options in the area for this...
