Last year I found my dream dress. The appointment was great, the lady who helped me was fantastic. Fast forward, to this May I came in for my alteration appointment (I came in two week earlier then recommended). Molly acted as if I was a burden. First, trying on my dress we found out I went down two dress sizes. Molly spent 30 minutes flustered what to do because the dress was clearly too big. After speaking to a manager she brought in a floor dress and swapped out mine. In the three hour (no break) pinning process with no A/C during the hottest day of May she would stop to chitchat with a worker. This conversation was not about a question or her helping her coworker these were personal conversations. My appointment was 12:30 and I did not leave until 4:00 pm. During the alterations I asked Molly if she could fix a certain area of the dress due to over lapping one another. She told me that it was the dress and nothing could be done.. I also requested to add cups which I was struggling to put in the correct position. Molly tried to âhelpâ but made it very clear she was uncomfortable. By the time I left I made an appointment to come back to pick up my dress in June. The day before my appointment I received a voicemail stating that there was an issue with alterations and they had a new dress waiting for me. I arrived the next day and the dress was almost to my ankles⊠the hemline was not straight. It looked like Molly took wave scissors and added waves and layers to the dress. Mind you my wedding is Aug 3. I live three hours away and each time I travel my mom and myself have to take time off. Margret re pinned my new dress, which took 45 minutes.. I made my appointment for two weeks to come in and pick my new dress. The day before I was to pick my dress up Molly (who I requested to not be apart of the second dress) called me at 8:00pm stating they needed more time due to the dress not being done. As anyone elseâs, I was very annoyed. I am three weeks until my wedding. I expressed to Molly that the dress HAD to be done tomorrow. She requested a later time for me to come in. I explained to her I would have to call back due to my mom coming as well ( I need someone to come and learn how to fix the bustle) I told her I would call her back in five minutes. I called DB back and to fin d out Molly went home. This was 8:15pm. But the time I got to DB the next day Margret was waiting for me apologizing that she was unsure why Molly called me that the dress was completed before she went home. Margret was amazing and saved the day! But Molly had absolutely caused so much stress and extra trips to Saginaw. I would not recommend going to DB for alterations unless you know Margret is providing the services. What an absolute...
   Read moreI had a terrible experience with Davidâs bridal! I brought my wedding gown that I had purchased in Columbus, Ohio to be altered at the Saginaw location. My dress was clean when I brought it in, but after bringing it home and trying it on in natural lighting, my mom and I noticed that there was dirt streaks all along the gown, and a giant water stain on the dress. After calling Davidâs multiple times, we received no compensation for these damages that have been caused to my dress well in the hands of Davidâs bridal. I had to then take it to a dry cleaner and pay $250 to get these marks out. Instead, the associates that we spoke to you were rude and told us that the damage was our fault and that they would never let that leave their store. But then they would contradict themselves, and explain that the dress was dirty when I bought it and that marks were not their fault. They basically told me that they did not care how the dirt got there, but since I had signed off after my alterations on the dress that they didnât have to do anything. The week before my wedding was incredibly stressful and unenjoyable solely because of the Davidâs bridal in Saginaw. I have told all of my friends that they need to stay as far away from a Davidâs Bridal as they can. My experience was terrible and I will never be back. If I can give them zero stars I would. Their customer service was terrible, alterations department does not know what theyâre doing (I also had to get my shoulders fixed because they were uneven, strings hanging out, and the under fabric was showing) and they do not care about helping a bride feel beautiful or taking care of their customers. Iâve never had a more negative experience with customer service in my life! Even my wedding coordinator was appalled and called them too- sheâs spreading the word too. Stay FAR away...
   Read moreI came in to shop for my wedding dress and Sophia was my stylist. She was immediately so sweet and so helpful. She made me feel so comfortable and helped me to feel beautiful in each dress. We got through our time slot and I hadnât made my decision yet. I was so torn on two dresses and just couldnât decide. I was distraught because I was so unsure, but knew I wanted to decide that day. I talked with her and she said âwhat if we take a break, you guys go have lunch, and come back around 3?â And we did just that. However, that was her out time. She spent 2 extra hours with me and my girls to help. It was the sweetest thing and I am so thankful for her. I tried on those two dresses again and just wasnât sure. I didnât know if I loved them anymore. Some of her coworkers were there and they offered to help and she was accepting and as was I. They started bringing over dresses and I tried on the first one and I fell in love. That was my dress. Sophia had brought the dress to me earlier but it was a little out of my price range but it was brought back so I tried it on. Instantly all of us fell in love. Someone had come over from the alteration team had come over to show me something we could put on the back of the dress to help with some personal insecurities and she was also so sweet and made me feel comfortable and that nothing was wrong. I could write forever and just go on and on, but for the sake of time, Iâll stop here. If youâre considering here to shop for anything, do it. They are some of the SWEETEST and most caring people.
