Dave has been disrespectful, not actively listening, combative, childish, and breaking boundaries. Six days ago we had a conversation in which he repeated himself like an insane person not listening at all to what was being said, tried putting words into my mouth stating "I cannot do what you are telling me to do." I did not tell him to do anything I was telling him what I could do. He was twisting my words and frankly I am not certain what he was hearing at this point, because of how little he shown he listened.
I had requested that he cease contact with me, because I am not about to allow myself to be harassed for money I do not have, and he disrespected my boundary leaving a note on my door. My Unit is located in an unsafe building where there are people who consume illicit substances (there are people who do crack, pills, and meth), so if he is coming to my apartment after 5 pm it is not safe for him to be around, because these people have no self control, so he could get himself shot or stabbed...
When I first started doing business with Aarons, I was under the impression that they were professional, valued honesty, and were respectful. Since Jordyn has been replaced by Dave it has been less professional, very disrespectful, and he clearly does not value honesty.
Dave has bragged about making a few sales in front of customers, that looks horrible, because I understand they make a commission from the sales, however, it looks bad when you are bragging about making a sale, when you (as a business) say that you care about the customers. He does not even hide the fact that he does not care about the customer.
All he cares about is making money. Greed clearly motivates him and is going to be the person that sinks this location. It is sales people like him that make it exceedingly hard for me to make payments, because I do not trust that he is going to be honest.
I have also suggested I bring back our item, he would not accept it, because he wanted to push for a payment, so I told him what I could pay at the end of the month. He handled the call so poorly by raising his voice at me when the call did not go the way he expected it to.
That mentality is very childish where "if I start raising my voice it means I am right and not in the wrong." clearly does not reflect 15 years of customer service. If he had a disability I would be very accommodating, because I have interacted with someone who worked at walgreens that deals with depression and has better customer service skills with his 15 years of experience, so I do not feel Dave is equipped to handle this position. Typically, managers are supposed to deescalate a situation, however, he escalated it and expected me as a woman to just take his blatant disrespect.
I regret continuing to give Aarons my business since Jordyn has left, because if this is a reflection of how they want business to be handled they are not going to be doing well at all. This shows that the business only cares about making money and do not think I haven't noticed that after a few months time the electronics start to have issues. Not only does he disrespect my caregiver while she is being honest about what our plans are and what we can do by raising his voice at her and repeating the same thing over and over like an insane person, he thought it was okay to confuse holding someone accountable with how she was calling him out for being disrespectful. He was not professional in the slightest. He claims to have 15 years of management experience and I have to say it does not show whatsoever. He has shown he does not actively listen, he uses the last resort sales tactic of "if you cannot pay you have to return the item" with a nasty tone, and when he does not get his way he talks about how it is policy.    Read moreI rented a washing machine and dryer, and i have had problems and frustration with both of them. I have been buying from them over 5 years, never had a problem until this time. I waited on the phone for over 2o minutes and have gotten hung up 4 times!!! Dryer constantly squeaks, no matter what size load and the washing machine, if you don’t get it to start right away, you will be opening and closing the cover and the pause button for ever.
