Entry was hassle free, plenty of parking was available ( I was lucky and found a shaded spot) no waiting in line for tickets ( $26 p.p.) where you begin your entry, maybe 18 people were visiting at the same time ( with their pets) the first entry you are greeted with the local Peacock 🦚 then the second 🎟️ ticket podium gives you a map of the park with times of each attraction. First stop "The fountain of Youth", gives a brief introduction to the indigenous people and Ponce de Leons discovery and travels. They provide paper cups, I honestly bathed in it lol and drank the heavily sulfur smelling and tasting water. You can follow the trail and catch the world 🌎 show every 15 mins then walk the paths of plants, animals, huts, paintings and other learning experiences. They even have canon blasts that the whole family will enjoy. Towards the final steps of the tour you walk through their souvenir shop ( they sell the water from the fountain in a variety of sized bottles.) There are maps, canes, shells, indigenous pictures, tools, plastic/wooden swords etc.. Then you exit to a walkway of Peacock 🦚 access, peanuts for a quarter to feed them. Watch out there are pigeons and they are not afraid of humans and will all jump on you all at once. The park strongly recommends that you feed the peacock's ONLY but the pigeons are very determined to snatch the nuts right from your hand as the dispenser spits out a handful of nuts. When you are finished with a scene from Alfred Hitchcock they have ice cream and fast food parlor for you to enjoy a cooling snack, hydration and the beauty of the area. Make sure you wear comfy shoes, bug spray, sun block and plenty of water. Due to rain it can get very swampy along certain areas of the park. I recommend bringing some binoculars they have a lake for wildlife reserve and you will be able to catch some rare birds, fish and other animals. During the weekdays it is not as crowded on a holiday weekend. Enjoy oh yes it is Wheelchair accessible but I would call ahead to reserve their sand...

The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, happy to answer questions and share stories about Ponce de León and early Spanish settlers. The recreated Native Timucua village was especially moving—it added depth, respect, and cultural perspective to the whole experience.

Read moreOur encounter with the trolley started with Johnny at the ticket booth and he was super helpful! We was patient with our large group and he made some great recommendations for attractions to see with kids. 5 stars for Johnny! We spent most of the ride with Harris and if we would stayed with him, this would have been 5 star experience! Thank you, Harris for your entertaining and informative presentation, you appear to love your job and take great pride in your work. With the ability to hop on/ off at all the stops, this is a great way to experience St. Augustine and the rich history of the city. Our final driver should have probably taken his mask off because we couldn't understand a word he said while the trolley was moving. Half of our group was in a different car and they couldn't understand him either. Overall, a great experience that I would...
