READ THIS!!!!! Don't go to this jewelry store , ever, and let all those you know also. I had the most horrific experience with the man Danny that works there or owns the place. I've done business with him in the past. I made purchases from him also. Also replacing batteries in watches or taking off links.... Etc. I had many business dealings with him. One of those purchases was an ankle bracelet. I bought it in September 2022. It broke a month later. I brought it into him and he said well that shouldn't happen. I'll replace it . So I followed up on the item and now it has been a year and four months later, I went in every three months and he kept saying oh it's on the bottom of my safe, I'm sorry my distributor , all excuses. So, I again went in to the store, asking him about the anklet discussing the items that I did purchase in the past and the ring and the diamond that he set for me and he looks at me and says he doesn't know me , doesn't recognize me , like he's never seen me before and then he starts yelling at me that he has all of this stuff three years backed up and I said in return, this is not the way to run a proper business nor is the way you are speaking to me, a human being, and a customer that has given you money for purchases. He also stated that he doesn't even know if I picked it up already. As though my big plan was to go there and swindle him out of $ 3 0 , are you for real? He then said well what do you want from me? I said I would like my $30 back please. He started going through his wallet and then he decided to write me a check and then as he was writing his check he continued to yell at me and speak to me rudely. I told him we should just agree to disagree and please stop talking and he would not. He continued on and on .Loud and rude !Then he says no you know what I'm not giving you money back. I want you out of my store. I neither touched, nor spoke down to this man who spoke to me in such an ill manner that you would think he never dealt with human beings before, what it all boils down to is that he was wrong and people do not like confrontation. I came into his store and he said I came in combative, which is completely false , because the first words I said to him was thank you because he held the door for me. I then went onto explain to him my past business transactions with him and right away he started in with I don't know you, I don't recognize you and into his whole spiel . It was honestly the most traumatizing and humiliating moment I have ever had , when it comes to business dealings. I told him I was going to call the police but I thought better of it and I was going to be the bigger person and leave it be , however, he called the police. I don't know what he could've been claiming that I was doing because I was a customer that bought an item that he still has and I just want my money back. He is a crook a criminal. A CRIMINAL!!!!! HOW DARE YOU TREAT ANYONE THE WAY YOU TREATED ME!!!! I believe that you immediately recognized me and knew what I was in there for and knew you were wrong and didn't know what excuse you could come up with for such poor business dealings. How about this get a handle on your inventory and check your safe and then you will find my broken silver anklet with balls . Maybe then you will feel bad, possibly. From now on be the bigger person, the better person , the person that people want to look at and say he's a good businessman and correct the problem that a customer is having with you and deal with it maturely like an adult. Also, you sir are big shmoozer, and I never trust a schmoozer. Just all talk when things are going your way and then sarcasm to others who have a legitimate complaint . Just like you said this isnāt Burger King ā¦. Like that makes a client feel good that it wonāt be done their way. When frequenting an establishment, that is exactly what a customer wants, their way. I brought in a bracelet that needed a stone put in it, a neckless that needed a stone to witch I brought the matching earrings they could take the stone out of,and earrings that needed to be fixed so screw backs would work. #1 when I went to drop off everything the lady couldn't see what needed to be repaired so I didn't leave it with the others. I was told that they had the stone in stock for the neckless so I took the stones I brought. The earings I was told they were getting new backs to screw on. I went back two days later to drop off the braclet and told them what needed to be repaired and I was told the rest of the jewelry was on the desk to be next fixed. Three days later I called to check on everything and was told that he was so far behind and he said he wasn't sure if he had the stone for the braclet but if not he would have it by Tuesday. So come Tuesday or Wednesday I got the call to come pick up and got there and the only thing that had even been worked on was the braclet he wasn't aware I had other things to be repaired... We discussed what he would do with the earings to witch he said he had static backs for them and I replied I needed them to be screw on backs. His reply was that I should leave them so he could fix them the right way and put new post on them. To that I agreeed... So two or three days went by and I called yet again and he answered. He then proceeded to tell me that they had not been in the shop all day because "his girl" had doctors appointment in Jacksonville and he was going to work that night to clear some repairs to come in the next day and it would be done. So the next day I go to the shop around 3 or 4 to what surprise they couldn't finf the items at first and one they found them he came and was explaining to me yet again that they have replaced the backs with static backs and they had to order the stone for the neckless! To witch in replied we aggred on screw backs and you were going to "fix them right" that's the whole reason I left them here the last time I was there, and told him just keep the backs and give me back the rest I'll take it somewhere else. And he got rude and angry and told me "just take the shit! I'm giving you 14k gold backs for free just go to witch unsaid keep them ... Later on the neckless they needed to order a stone for was already repaired with the wrong type of stone and I was told it wasn't done yet... This is the worste experience I have had anywhere for anything. Later on my girlfriend called to see what had happened because I was do furious in the man was very rude telling her that her jewelry was crap why was he fixing it to begin with it was crap yelling at her. This business I cannot believe is even open to this day horrible service horrible work no one should...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter lunch with my mom today, she recommended we stop in to get a new battery for my Watch. We were greeted by one of the owners, Mr. Danny Buchanan. "Hi, are you Mr. Buchanan ", I say. He chuckled for a moment. "Call me, Danny" he replies. Danny asked how he could help us, so I explained that I needed a new watch battery and I normally would change it, but my Invicta is too nice to DIY, so here we are. While we're waiting, my mom browses and sees a beautiful diamond ring that reminded her of her late mother, God rest her soul, and she would wear one similar in style on her pinky finger. The ring was basically the correct size so my mother asks if he had a ring insert so it wouldn't fall off. Danny says, "I'll do you better, give me maybe 3 minutes and I'll have it resized without cutting or solder. After 3 minutes, Danny's steam cleaning it, bare handed like a medieval iron worker, then presents it to my mother. Fits perfectly the first time. She loves it, no back and forth haggling over the price, just a straight up proper deal by a good Dude. And he threw in my battery and time for nothing. His work (and his staff's) is fast, affordable, and absolutely fantastic. Oh, and good people, too. I'll be adding his info and a great referral to my website that'll be up in a few days! I've attached a photo of the ring on her pinky, just like her mother would wear it.
