Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Florida

Sometime last week with my kids!

Where I stay we don’t have a chicken salad chick.Therefore we have to drive to st. Augustine which is about an hour and 20 mins away from our home. Always looking forward to see the familiar faces and nice area. As we walk into the store me and my kids were smack in the face with an ungodly smell. Didn’t know where it was coming from but as we walked closer to the register we found out that it was coming from the kitchen. There was trash all over the place, not a clean table to sit at. I felt bad for the girl with the glasses, she was running around with her head cut off. Even the lady’s in the back were also. The same girl with the glasses being so kind and friendly, Trying to get through everyone’s order. We saw a manager walk right by and never help anyone with anything, also there’s a line out the door. I’m Very frustrated at this point. After we order our food, we found a booth with not so many greasy handprints on it. Trash all underneath my feet, not to mention my kids shoe literally got stuck to the floor by the soda machine! We waited about 18 minutes for our food. Wasn’t the best quality and It tasted somewhat old! It’s very disturbing to see these ladies do so many jobs within their one job. And to see a manager walk by and not help at all. Disgusting.

This store needs to call a cleaning company ASAP! They really need to hire more people. Very...

Just opened and they have a lot of growing pains.

The review about closing at 8 is not a fair review. This chain has been closing at 8 since they started 8 or so years ago. Sign on door says they close at 8. So that review is without merit.

Now food quality - accuracy of take out - leaving items out of take out orders - that is something worthy of a complaint.

Ordered take out. No crackers included with scoop. Item left completely out of order which was intended for a toddler and that meant toddler went without something to eat and we had to scramble to find something when already 20 min away from CSC. I’ve eaten at CSC all over the southeast - this one is off as far as chicken salad taste. I always get jalapeño Holly - but - if this was the first time I ever ordered it I would never order it again. Each person in our group got what they normally get and every single person said the taste was off. Not nearly as good as other CSC. Grape Salad frosting was runny. It’s supposed to be fluffy.

I hope they are able to get their act together. Maybe this is a corporate store and not a franchise. If you are local to St Augustine you might give it a while before you go to let them get kinks worked out. They are normally better...

We visit your location in Saint Augustine on a regular basis. Usually ordering the same items, but not always. We have noticed that the staff is a bit challenged, being new and not sure of the expectations. It seems to me that someone signs off on said new employee that will be dealing with the public and would be comfortable with what that entails. I believe that this individual would be pleasant, quick to smile, make eye contact and ensure guest satisfaction and perhaps a little something extra. I Fully understand the industry along with the current challenges of staffing. Today’s experience should be a training opportunity for your operations. I walk in, there are two ahead of me, they place their orders. I then place mine, a trio, soup and sandwich. I take my bag, go home and find a missing item. I call back and basically challenged regarding my honesty. She prepared my order and it WAS correct. Anyway I drove back got the missing item and left. NOT the slightest of apologies.
