So - Food was OK Too embraced to return my Chicken - thinking it would be ground chicken kebab as shown on the picture menu And the what was sent was not anyway near kebabs of chicken- and then to make it worse - the Chicken was not cooked fully - Lastly we were 4 we ordered I plain gyro as in menu price $7 2 chicken shawarma combo with Fries Menu price $10.50 x2 $21 Then my main meal checked Kebob meal - menu read $12.50 I plate Falafel $3. I bottle of Water $1.50 This all adds up to $ 45.50

If you as them up $45.50 But I was having allergic headache plus I was hungry with kids Being new in the town and embarrassed She showed $57. ?! This was $12. Over the menu price for what I had ordered I said ok ?! Whatever Here cr card machine is set up to force you pay the tip - but that was not it - I clearly at this point said I will not pay the tip politely - she said press the green enter - I did lol and behold $8.81 I ended up paying an extra $21.00 I ended up paying $67.81 I should have been at $47 max - for a meal I could’ve enjoyed at Chicka fila and would’ve gave cost us $40 max My gripe is this was not a good experience on how they over charged - I don’t believe in tipping unless the food is extraordinarily excellent and service is out of this world - this was fast food take away - I really felt cheated. I hope they becomes honest - it is for Their own benefit I promise myself and my family will not step into that joint ever again if we ever visit St Augustine - bad experience - I’m sorry you talked good - but a customer should not be...

  • Please LIKE & SHARE our reviews. * Wheelchair accessible with challenges due to tight dining space (but please don't let this hold ya back - they are so accommodating here!) My chiropractor appointment was up the road. Glad my husband spotted this gem on Google Maps. I was so tempted NOT to do a review because it is so good. Upon entry we were greeted by a gal, I believe her name is Lucia. Told her we had never been and she graciously explained the menu to us. We have only ever had Turkish style Filafel and gyros. This restaurant is Lebanese so the flavors may be a tad different than what you are used to. We watched one of the gals named, Eva as she hand-rolled stuffed grape leaves. She was kind enough to let me film her. The food was so fresh and healthy. The prices were great for a place which serves fresh food. My husband ordered the gyro and I ordered the vegetarian platter. I am in no way vegetarian but I wanted to sample all the hummus, filafel and stuffed grape leaves. Did not disappoint!!! Was so full wjen we left. I had food to take with me... my word! We will definitely be back...if you enjoy fresh, healthy, flavorful food... this is a wonderful alternatives to fast food. The gals prep the food to order and it is quick. Could definitely eat here on a 30 min lunch break. Seating is limited. Only 3 tables... just a heads up. They do take to-go orders. Thank you for the wonderful experience and amazing...

Let me start out by saying that the sandwich was descent ✔ However! Middle Eastern food such as the garlic sauce and tabouli salad is much better tasting than how it is "put" together here at Falafel Queen! For those who know Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food! Garlic sauce at this Falafel Queen...is scary dangerous! It's either rancid (everything tasted rancid)or just done wrong to the point of where its just made up of pure garlic and nothing combined with it to cut out that extreme (I mean extreme) bite that makes you cough, and that rancid after taste!..? Tabouli salad - once I tried this, I was furious! Mad enough to leave this review! Nothing tasted fresh, not even the falafel...frozen, even the tabouli salad tasted wilted/old, sauce was dangerous, hummus left a major rancid taste too..? Ugh! $28 dollars...

A nice little gem in Saint Augustine tucked in the corner of a strip mall Falafel Queen will certainly surprise you if you go in with low expectations. The owners are also the chefs and their food was fresh and delicious. And yes, the falafel is some f the best I’ve had in the area. Most items were moderately priced as well. I would have liked to have seen more drinks available, it’s one of my pet peeves to have a great little place have nothing but canned sodas in a cooler..... other than that the experience was a good one!

Stopped here for some food to take home and a falafel sandwich to eat while I drove back to north Jax. OMG, best decision I’ve made food wise all year! The BEST falafel I’ve ever had! Now I’m having the hummus and tabbouleh for dinner and it is an 11/10 experience. While I was waiting for my food, the owner chatted with me, told me stories about her family and asked about mine. This place is so special. I don’t know if I’ll ever find better. Thank you so much Falafel Queen.
