BUYER BEWARE If I could give zero stars I would. We bought a refrigerator from them a week ago. We were assured that there were no previous repairs and that there was nothing wrong with it except for the few minor dents. We paid $1,200 dollars for this. We get it home hook it up and the Ice maker isn't working. Went up to the store and told them and they said to run water through the water lines for a few days. We did that. and it still isn't working. Come to find out, the line that is BEHIND a protection cover that does not get TOUCHED AT ALL DURING install is broken and leaking. when we took the cover off you can clearly see where they tried to fix it with silicone. Well they didn't even do that right. and mind you... IT IS A $12 part. But since it was a slow leak and we did not realize, the water has seeped under my floors and completely destroyed my kitchen floors causing over 6,000 dollars worth of damage. We have been back and fourth with the company, the analogy they used was "its like when you buy a new car and drive it home and hit your garage with it and expect the dealership to pay for the damages" You have got to be absolutely kidding me... Anyways we have Frigidaire coming out to look at it on Friday which will in fact just back us up even more since this line IS BEHIND A PROTECTION COVER. Once we have that report we will be sending it to the attorney and they will be sued for damages, cost of attorney time off work to deal with their mess, the cost of the fridge ect. Read moreI just purchased a washer and dryer here and during that process I got to see every side of this company and give them 5 stars for how they handled everything. First impressions with going into the store, really great selection to choose from and I was greeted by (Brian) in sales who was super knowledgeable about their product and you could tell that he has been working in that industry for a while. He was really helpful sending me pictures of a couple different models that they had at their other location the next day to compare as well. I finally decided to go with a set and he gave me a really great price on them and even upgraded me to ones that came with pedestals on them for the same price. They scheduled them to be shipped to my house and even helped out with the scheduling to work around my work schedule. The delivery crew was super professional and did a great job installing everything. When we did our initial test run one of the units wasn't working properly and this is where Brian introduced me to their service team to discuss next steps. They stood behind their product and had a crew out the next day to swap out the unit. Everything is working great now and can't speak highly enough about this company from a sales side and customer support side. You can tell that they aren't just looking to sell another unit but really care about the customer experience. Shopped several big box Labor day sales, had model #s, measurements, prices, etc. Stopped into Happy's and met Brian right away. He notified me of the warehouse in back and let me get started. In the warehouse I found some identical and some similar models to my comparable big box options. After several minutes of me comparing Happy's models, Brian asked if I had any questions. I had several, and he responded with detail and transparency including business model (only overstock and scratch dent at this location) and hardware variances. Brian offered a few previously unconsidered pros/cons between several products. In the end I chose my product and made the purchase with Brian. The purchase process was fairly quick and painless. The customer service experience itself was excellent- the right balance of space and time to think and compare options, and Q & A time with Brian.
I paid for upsell of full delivery service (transport away old refrigerator, install new one) to occur two days from today- nice quick turnaround. I will post an update once delivery process is complete based on installation (no damage to product or home, speed, customer service etc).
Seems like a nice alternative to big box if you have an appetite for slight wear for a good discount, and/or like to support...
