I'm not the type of person that goes around posting reviews on restaurants, but today was the final straw for me with this location. So I pull up to drive through and a girl promptly asked what I would like. I ask her for a moment and then proceed to order. As I read off the second meal of my order, she interrupts me and says hold on. After a minute, a guy comes on, he then asks for my order. I cautiously read off my second meal again and noticed he put down the wrong size to it and the first meal was suddenly missing on the screen. I advised him of the correct size and I got nothing, but silence. I give him a few minutes to see if he responds, nothing, so I start to inquire what happened to my order. The girl comes back on after another minute with a stern voice and reads off a completely wrong order. I correct her of what it should be, reading over the two meals I requested so far. Without confirming my correction or asking if I wanted anything else (which I did) she tells me very bluntly to come around. Stunned, I advise her that I was not done with my order and got silence again. I just got fed up, yelled nevermind, and drove off.
I then went down to the Burger King on Veterans and got a completely different experience. The girl there at that BK listened to me, used pleasantries, asked me kindly to confirm my order, and made sure to read back the whole order once I was done. Absolutely satisfied with my experience at that location.
The reason I bring up the other location is simply to make a point. The level of customer service is night and day between both locations. This was not the first time I have had to deal with snarkiness and slack from the 1st Capitol location. Rushed orders with people trying to cut me off and finish my order before I could read off every meal, eye rolls and non verbal hand offs with reps and management just giving me death stares for apparently making them work, incorrect orders, 15 minute wait times with only maybe 2 other customers present, etc. The list goes on.
Now, I can understand if one or both reps today were new and the mic in drive-through was getting hit with wind, so it could have made it hard to hear. However, if either situation were present, I'd imagine one of the reps would have apologized and alerted me to this. Considering this is a fairly consistent issue at this location, I highly doubt that to be the case. This may be fast food and not the most luxurious job or career, but there is a certain level of cooperation and consideration you should have with those you are providing a service to. I mean, I get it, it's not a job in engineering, law, or the medical field, but it's still a job- it helps pay bills, debt, loans, etc, at least try to show some professionalism while you strive to better your situation.
If you are reading this in wonder of the service of this location, please do yourself a favor and consider a different Burger King rather than this spectacular display of...
Read moreAs was stated in another review someone else did, I'm only giving one star because I can't do zero. I understand this is a fast food establishment so the standards are a bit lax... but oh my god does this location and its not so punctual staff take it to a whole new pathetic level. Arrived at this Burger King at 1015 (drive thru closes at 1100), placed my order (original chicken sandwich, large fries and a large coke), drove up to the window and promptly paid for my order. 2 minutes after sitting at the window a younger gentleman came up to inform me that the order was waiting on fries. He asked me to pull up and let me know he'd bring it out when it was done. I pulled up and parked behind another customer...the only other customer...who I can only assume was waiting on their order as well. 15 minutes go by and the gentleman that spoke with me earlier comes out...empty handed. Remember, I'm only waiting on fresh fries. I put down my window and he comes to me and asks, and I quote, "What did you order?" I inform him and he walks away...to the car in front of me and asks the same question. As he's walking back in he proceeds to tell our orders to the employee on the other end of his headset. At this point I'm done. I go knock on the door, go in and get a refund. Yep. Two orders. Waiting on fries. 15+ minutes. Orders forgotten even though they were entered into a computer. It's sad that I got better and more prompt service when getting my refund.
Don't bother coming to this...
Read moreFirst, the young lady when she was taking my order in the drive thru she still had the order on the screen from the car in frount of me, so when she was taking my order it was adding to the order in frount of me. Then it took her a bit to figure out how to clear my items off that order. Then I order 2 woppers no tomato and a 10pc. Chicken nuggets. I pay at the window and the car in frount of me has to pull up because they ordered like 27$ worth of food. She takes my money and has me pull forward. Only 1 customer in the lobby (thats it!!) So the customer in frount of me finally gets their food and they leave. 10 minutes later I finally get my food. I get home... And guess what's on my Wopper?? Tomatoes!!! Are you freaking kidding me. This all happened at 7pm on 28January2019 I could understand if they had a lobby full of customers or the drive thru was wrapped around the building but, 1 customer in the lobby and me and one other car in drive...
