ALDI — Local services in Saint Joseph

I heard so much about their great Produce section, so I was anxious to visit their new store. So, I walk in, and there are no carts ? I can see them outside, around the corner from the entry. I exit the store, grab a cart, and it won't come loose from the others. A guy walks up, and tells me they cost a quarter. I am strictly a plastic payer,vI seldom carry cash, and so I never get change. I decide I will find an empty box, like I was shopping at an old Aldi's. I find a suitable box, and get back to the produce section, and my jaw dropped. There wasn't much of a selection, and I've seen better quality veggies at convenience stores. My visit to Aldis was not good today! As a former employee for the Aldi store I know the importance of customer service! I have been in customer sevice a big part of my life! The young man (Dathan) was very rude through entire transaction! Did not greet or thank any of his customers while I was in his line. As I approached I was putting my groceries on belt and he would not stop belt he rudely told me not to throw my stuff on belt! At the end of transaction I had left a can in cart and showed him mechandise! He rudely responded is this on another ticket! I replied no! I shop at the St Joseph, MO Aldi's all the time!! I'm on a fixed income, so I usually save money for the trip there! It's 45 miles away, but worth it in long run! I was so saddened when I started to shop and realized most of the shelves were Empty!! =( I felt was lack of preparation!! Everyone Knew of a snow storm coming, but lacked to keep the shelves stocked!!! I love Aldi's!! I truly Wish we could get one here in Falls City, NE!! People from all over would come here!! We live in a Tri-state area covering NE, KS, MO & IA! Our Shopko store is closing and would be a Great location for Aldi's to come in!!
