Buckle — Local services in Saint Joseph

I’ve shopped the Buckle since approximately 1990, and have visited many different Buckles across the country, this is probably one of the most friendly and helpful stores. The staff is super friendly, helpful and always remembers you by name. They offer free alterations, and Lisa does an excellent job. They offer free layaway and have a rewards program. The Buckle has a lot of cute things, adds new items frequently and since adding a couple cheaper lines, it now offers more for everyone. While Rock Revival are my favorites, Daytrip at a fraction of the cost are super cute and comfortable too. I actually like the BKE tops and jackets more then the brand name labels or their exclusive Gimmicks brand and the BKE quality is nice. I stopped purchasing Gimmicks bc for the price the quality is lacking, I’ve had so many things in the Gimmicks line stretch out, pilling issues, fades, threads pulled, unraveling and that’s just a few of my complaints. Recently they added a feature where you can request ahead of times for items to be pulled at your store location of choice to try on which is nice. They don’t have sales and their clearance rack usually contains older merchandise which is a negative for me. I recommend this Buckle bc I’ve shopped here for so many years. Shopping with a good friend on a snowy, slow day. To my surprise we were greeted immediately. Antonio and Mariah were certainly more than helpful. I'm a big tall guy with problems finding clothes in retail store that actually fit. At first I was shown the stores inventory as close of a match as possible. Although a couple of items that matched my criteria in a reasonable way, eventually we encountered reasonable expectations. The staff was super persistent and friendly. I would encourage the Buckle to start having at least some inventory for taller customers. That way, we don't feel like we're taking a gamble with my purchase. I don't like having to return things.
