Purchased a new refrigerator on the Home Depot online website scheduled a delivery date paid for it paid for disposal of my old refrigerator and then within 24 hours of the schedule delivery date which was yesterday Friday they called and canceled moved it to Saturday this Saturday morning that is today they called me the delivery driver at at 10:55 a.m. to tell me they would be at my house within 15 to 20 minutes I said okay then 20 minutes later they called me back and said they had a zip code discrepancy and what was my ZIP code which I gave it to them and they said they did not have that ZIP code they had a different ZIP code and they would let me know what was going on and they hung up within 3 minutes The office in Kansas City called me to tell me to ask me the same thing that that they had a zip code issue and that and I said I just talked to the drivers I thought it was resolved she said okay hung up did not hear anything from anybody for an hour and a half until I started calling to ask where my refrigerator was I called the driver first he told me he wouldn't be delivering it because I was now out of his area I called the dispatch thing and after the first person hung up on me told me to calm down and that she didn't want to hear me and then hung up on me and then I called back the second time and got a very nice lady who tried to help me but just couldn't because she said your system says that if there's a zip code issue that they have to cancel the order and replace it and that they would reschedule be a delivery for sometime next week does any of this sound like good customer service to anybody else they are in my city they have my refrigerator already on their truck and they won't bring it to me because of a glitch in their online system terrible customer service terrible customer follow through I wouldn't recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis particular Home Depot is a joke, at least the paint department is. Went in on a Saturday evening, 45 minutes before close, and was trying to find a special product. Stood by the paint counter for 10 minutes listening to a man tell another employee how "closing" works. Both looked right at me and didn't even acknowledge me OR my husband. Another male employee walked up and plopped down on a stool, again looking right at us and not even nodding at us. The 3 then proceeded to have a conversation about how excited they were to get off work in 30 minutes. Sad display of "customer service" or lack there of. I will not darken their doors again. Waste of time and i KNOW where there's a Home Depot in Des Moines that actually help their customers. Don't waste your time going to Home Depot in St. Joseph, MO, go to Wal-Mart instead. At least there you have no expectations of customer service and they will oblige you every...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have been trying for 45 minutes to purchase a grill for my husband for Fathers Days. 1st: complaint: apparently no one works in the grill section on a Friday afternoon 2nd after 15 min wait a very friendly lady showed up to help. She however had no idea where the grill was that we wanted. After 30 minutes of her searching she said she found one on the bottom of a pallet she would have to get someone to unload it. 3rd complaint another couple came in to purchase a grill and they found a young man to help them who told them the grills were probably back in freight and no one had unloaded them I understand itās hard to get reliable people to work anymore but trying to purchase a grill at a home improvement store should not be this frustrating I saw several workers milling around get them to unload your shipment!! Sorry Home Depot you...
