Picked up a Steelcase Gesture here after trying a couple chairs. The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable.

My only real complaint was on the return policy (which I didn't need, for what it's worth) -- the manager said he could only do 2 days since it's been an issue in the past where people would buy chairs for a project and return them later in the month when it was over. That's a fair concern since chairs can't be sold as new after they've been opened, but I think 2 days is a little short.

If any other stores sold Steelcase and had a better return policy (or hours outside of M-F, 8-4), I'd probably have gone there. But I managed to get one for 25% off MSRP through a special they were running (unfortunately for black only, but the savings was worth it)

I'll certainly be checking it out again if I'm still in the area when I need...

Drove all the way here but apparently they don’t let you try chairs anymore and I wasn’t even given an alternative of seeing the chairs or any of the other furniture after talking with front worker. There is also an appointment sign in front but no one was answering the calls I made. The front worker gave me a phone to call to ask about pricing however again that call wasn’t being answered either. Disappointed with the lack of transparency. Do I need to keep calling to set up an appointment? Why did the office worker automatically assume I wanted to only sit on the chairs....does that mean I can’t even see any of the tables or other office equipment? I just relocated to Minneapolis and was in need of a chair for my home office. I’m a Video Editor and didn’t want to go cheap (ikea), but couldn’t afford a brand new Herman Miller or Steelcase chair. That’s where General Office Products Used department came in.

I was instantly greeted by Lee, who took me to what I was looking for (a Drafting Stool height chair), and showed me the Pros and Cons of different chairs. It wasn’t until sitting in the Steelcase Leap V2 that I was sold. Buying used saved me a TON of money. I highly recommend checking this place out for your home office needs....
