I thought I was so lucky to have gotten my sister a last min appt. She was coming in from out of state and I thought this would be a good experience for her. Nothing about my appt scheduling experience or emails received thereafter explained that this store was entirely self-service. Sure, the 2 workers in the entire store answered a question or two from me, but they had no vested interest in my sister buying her dress there nor the other 3 girls in dressing rooms. I mean 2 workers to 4 potential dress buyers and incoming browsers is already not the best ratio but I assumed for the expense of these dresses as opposed to Nordstrom or David’s bridal, we’d get some sort of personalized experience or even an eyelash batted in our direction. Absolutely not. So I’m helping my sister in and out of dresses trying to be gentle with them - something that was obviously not a concern for the staff considering many dresses we saw had patches of sequins missing from poor handling - and my mom had to run around the store to find any dresses we could in her size since they are organized by color not size. We kept asking the staff where more of her size could be and if there were certain dresses they could grab for us and they did not oblige or even pretend to care. We were 10 min past our allotted hour and at the point where we needed to take a lunch break and think on the two favorites when we were rudely told to leave because we’d held up others’ appts for rooms. We had one more dress we wanted to try on for sizing to determine which to purchase - the dress that fit or the one that needed alterations - and that interaction made our decision for us. What could’ve been a brief break to think and come back to make a purchase turned into bringing our business elsewhere. We wouldn’t have went over our time had someone even had the slightest interest in helping us. And to think despite that chaos, we were still going to pick between the two favorites and give this place our business. So now I can clearly see that customer service isn’t something they value and would strongly recommend others who intend to shop there be prepared for that going into it. Not only are there hundreds of brand name designer dresses hand picked by the owner, but the organized and professional experience is wonderful. My closest friend found her unique wedding dress here, which says one can find wedding dresses and not just semi formal or prom dresses. Secondly, my daughter got the most unique prom dress that should have been a red carpet event dress. No one had the dress out of the 1000 kids who attended her prom last year. We received royal treatment with the luxery of sitting in swanky couches, huge mirrors placed around and sparkly lights to set the mood all taken in while watching my daughter show off the dresses she was trying on; the owner continually came by to check on us to see if we were finding what we needed. And she shared personal experiences of picking the dresses, which made one feel like she personally picked the dresses just for us. My daughter and I shopped for her prom dress and had the absolute best time. This was the 6th shop we visited this year and Rubi Jubi had the best selection by far. Colors, styles, sizes, and prices for every shopper. The staff was friendly and super helpful answering questions and pulling dresses as additional options once my daughter started narrowing down her style. Dresses were bagged which kept them clean and avoided getting snagged on each other. We appreciated the appointment to not feel overwhelmed with numerous shoppers crowding the space or keeping dresses in their rooms (we encountered this at several other shops) We made a special order with shipping to our home as we live 3 hours away and the process of the order and shipping was explained well. Communication between purchase and shipping was great with tracking numbers provided. My daughter’s dress arrived extremely fast, in perfect condition, and more beautiful than we remembered.
