Savvi Formalwear — Local services in Saint Peters

How do you give this location no stars? Savvi in Mid Rivers Mall deserves no stars and it needs to be investigated by the BBB. I used this location for tuxedo rentals for both my wedding and my sister's.

Below is my personal story, too long to read probably.

Do not go here! They will screw your wedding up. Head to the Men's Warehouse if you must use someone at the mall. The staff is incompetent except for the only guy who works there and the full time day woman. They will also tell you different things each time you come in. Just save the time and the headache and head somewhere else. Why burden yourself with extra stress on your wedding day.

They lost my sister's order at least twice, probably due to their lack of computers. They seriously use a giant book full of receipt orders like it is 1919. Additionally, for my sister's wedding they gave me the wrong size vest and the wedding party also did not receive enough pocket squares. I partially paid for my rental for my sister's wedding, but was then told since I was booking my wedding with them that I would not have to pay any more money. Well, the day of the wedding, They told me I owed $80. Despite the fact that I went in there twice to verify that everyone was paid up, I still had to pay full price for my sister's wedding.

My groomsmen both received the wrong fitting items three times, I received a jacket that was four sizes too small, (I did not gain four sizes in a month!) and I had a groomsman receive a shirt with a ten inch hole...

We rented tuxedos for my wedding from the Mid Rivers location. We did not start off with a pleasant experience. I am giving them 4 stars because while we had quite a few issues, two store managers made it right. My tuxedo was not the correct size at all, due to an employee not measuring correctly. One of my groomsmen and my father-in-law has issues as well. After my wife had a stressful night before the wedding driving to two locations (mid rivers and then to delmar location) to try and get a tuxedo that would fit me correctly we were very disappointed. The store manager at the delmar location (LeAnn) helped calm my wife down and did everything she possibly could to make it right for our afternoon wedding the next day. She was wonderful and thankful that she was there that night. After the wedding when dropping off the tuxedos we told the employee what issues we had. The store manager, Terry, at mid rivers gave us a call (we did not have to call him, he reached out to us). My wife spoke with him and he made things right. We explained we just wanted to make sure that people are trained proper. That was not good enough for Terry. He refunded me the full amount of a tuxedo rental and 1/2 for my Groomsman and my father-in-law. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Terry and LeAnn made us have a much better experience and made sure that we did not leave...

We came into this store last weekend and were helped by a young lady named Phoebe. She was SO helpful and beyond nice. With her help, we were able to quickly pick out our styles for tuxedos for our upcoming wedding. From there, Phoebe outlined next steps for us and our bridal party. We were pretty stressed out as our bridal party is all over the US, and we were unsure how to accommodate the large group. With Phoebe’s help, we were able to figure out the best possible plan. Throughout all the stress, we were considering going to Mens Warehouse. However, they don’t offer nearly as nice of tuxes as Savvi does (at least for a similar price), and more importantly, their customer service is no where near what we experienced with Phoebe and Savvi overall. Long story short, it was a no brainer to sign on for Savvi formalwear.
