I have been a Helzberg customer for more than 12 years. My husband purchased my promise ring, engagement ring, and wedding ring. His wedding band also came from Helzberg. So when he decided to upgrade my wedding ring for our 10-year anniversary, we went to Helzberg. Sadly, that was a BIG mistake for us! The original ring we purchased was damaged during resizing. I didn't notice until I got home that one side of the ring was completely crushed. We had to take it back to store have it sent out and wait again to have it fixed. We were called to come pick it up for the 2nd time and the ring was still noticeable damaged. The manager offered to pull the same ring from the case and send it out and have the ring sized with a laser to prevent damage. We waited for a 3rd time and guess what the ring came back crushed in the same exact spot! This should have been my sign to take my business elsewhere. The manager encouraged us to pick out a different ring. After picking out a completely different ring with a enhancer (so essentially 2 rings) we headed to the check out. Helzberg was having a sale and the manager said she would make sure we got a good deal since we had so many issues and had been waiting so long. She told us the total and it was a little more than we originally planned to spend but we decided it was worth it to get the ring we liked. This ring was sent out sized and came back as expected. I was thrilled however not for long! My husband no sooner left the store, and the manager was calling to put the remaining balance on another credit card. Confused as this purchase was made with the Helzberg credit card, we had planned to take advantage of the 12 mo no interest as we have done for years to build credit. Only to discover we were told the wrong purchase price by over $3,000. Talk about sick! The original ring was also purchased using the Helzberg credit card. When the ring was returned the price, we were given was as if the first ring was paid for already. We specifically asked this question when we were given the total and were still given the wrong total by over 3,000. When we realized what happen I was literally in tears and wanted to return the ring. I had no intention on spending that amount and felt guilty as this was not in our family's budget. My husband insisted I keep it that he would do some side work to make up the difference. He felt bad that I already had the ring and had fallen in love with it especially after having already received 3 damaged rings. We ended up having to pay cash around $1,800 that was not put on the Helzberg Credit card. The chaos doesn't end there! When we got our first statement a large amount of the ring only had 6 mos interest free which was again not what we agreed to or planned for. To avoid getting hit with 29.9% interest we had to pay another large sum we had not planned for. We called the store, and they blamed the credit lender. We called the credit lender, and they blame the store. The ring is now paid for in FULL and we are still getting statements with fees. Called the lender again and they literally laughed and imitated another woman calling just prior to us crying about interest fees she was told by Helzberg she would not have but the lender claims they don't offer zero fees/interest. As if all of this is not enough, I have taken my ring in at least 4 times in the last 1 year I have had it to be cleaned and inspected and was told I'm over my due date 3 times which can't be possible unless I was given false information on that as well. We were told it had to be inspected 2xs a year to keep the warranty. How is this possible I have only had the ring right at a year. This was supposed to be a celebration, a happy experience and it has been anything but that! Who wants to look at a beautiful ring and be reminded of this nightmare? and it doesn't seem to end! We purchased a solitaire diamond with full intention of adding on to this ring over the years. Now we can't do that unless we take our business elsewhere and where does that leave our warranty...
Read more30 years ago my husband and I came to buy wedding rings. The people back then help us so much. Over the years we had lost our rings. On April 29th, 2023, we came back to look at wedding rings again. We had a nice young man came over and we told him what we were looking for. We here asking him some questions about the rings and to our surprise he stated that he did not have the knowledge because he has not been trained in Lab Diamonds was happy to get the manager. We were very pleased with this young man because he was not trying to sell us anything to get the sale. We spoke with manager Mustafa Hameed. The experience was unforgettable. He was very polite and personal. We told me what we were looking for. He listened to us. He not only showed us a ring, but he also showed us several rings until we found the right one. Mr. Hameed and the employee represented Helzberg well and Helzberg should be very proud to have them on staff. We highly recommend Helzberg to our friends and family. When we look at our rings with joy and happiness, that is how we will remember...
Read moreI came in on 1/8/22 with my frustrated toddler at 11 am or so. I have been to this location many any times and have been customer for years and was soooo happy with the service. But today oh no I had two employees I have never seen attend to me. Just kidding one because the middle age man in the blue long sleeve shirt deliberately ignore and instead helped multiple customers while I Waite the other lady in the blues hockey hoodie "helped". No one said hello and be with you in just a moment like everyone typically does. What happened to the great employees that were there for years? Anyways... my child is frustrated and trying to run away and every time the lady comes back and my child decides to dart she went back to the previous customer barely letting meknow she did that. So far we have bought almost all of our jewelry needs here but if those employees are always going to be there. I'm going to a...
