Terrible Service for Small, Local Business. I picked out small dresser, exact size and look that I had been searching for. Spent a lot of time in shop and Keith, the owner, made paint chip for me to take home. The next morning, I emailed him from airport, telling him I wanted to buy the dresser and that the paint chip he had given me was the perfect color. I told him I would call with credit card either when I landed or the next day. He was closed when flight arrived after 5pm and he did not reopen until 11am the next morning. But instead of waiting for me to call him or sending me an email to make sure I wanted it, Keith sent me email 42 minutes after opening that he had sold the piece to someone else. I was waiting for him to open at 11 and had just sat down to call him when I saw his email announcing that he had sold it. He obviously had my email address but could not be bothered sending me an email to make sure I still wanted it. I guess that trying to support a local business is not such a good idea. Very unique and quaint store with extremely reasonable prices. They are a stockist for Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint, which is the main reason I came here. However, the store also sells furniture pieces and 'completion' pieces that would finish off your decorating needs or ideas. I was very delightfully surprised at the prices of the pieces. All the furniture is of great quality (sturdy wood, hardware etc) and each time I flipped a price tag I expected to see $300+ dollars but was stunned with prices as slow as $159! There are still pieces over 300, but it was nice to see the mix of prices. I left with just paint at first, but came back within half an hour to purchase a beautifully refinished mirror. The customer service was also great. The man at desk took the time to explain some chalk paint processes and tips for the color of paint I purchased. They have classes for chalk painting too, which I will hopefully attend soon. Thank you, Busters for all your help! Will definitely...
