Run + Play Kids Cafe in St. Pete is a great indoor play space for kids ages 0-6. We love scheduling play dates here, especially on hot or rainy Florida days. Other Services: -Music class Tuesdays & Thursdays 11a. -Bounce house Fridays. -Other special activities listed on their website. -Birthday parties $600 to rent the entire Run+Play for 25 kids & 50 adults for 3 hours. Website: https://www.runandplaykidscafe.com Phone: (727)346-8574 Email: hello@runrunkidsstore.com FYIs: -Grippy socks are required. -It is best to pre-register for open play because they sometimes hit capacity on hot or rainy days. They also sometimes close for private parties. -They have a restroom with a changing table & a toddler potty seat. 👏👏 -They have a toy store next door! -Both businesses are owned by local moms. Coffee: @beanwanderingevents is a coffee shop located in the same building and even has a special window to order from within the play area. I love the fun concept of the canned coffee! Super cute and unique! The coffees we got here were the cookie dough latte and the strawberry pancake latte. The cookie dough latte seems to be advertised with a bigger cookie, which I hoped was an inhouse made treat but I received a chips ahoy cookie. Which was fine, as a cookie is a cookie, just not what I've seen all over on social media, which was my fault for having expectations. Overall, okay latte, with only the slightest flavor/sweetness. The strawberry pancake latte was so yummy!! It honestly tasted like strawberry milk from being a kid! I preferred this latte over the cookie dough one! This one was really sweet, which shocked me, as I don't like sweet coffees. This place is also in a hallway connected to a kids play area social club thing, which I didn't know, and unless you're waiting on your kid to play it wouldn't be optimal to sit and enjoy your cuppa. I try to escape kid noises as I come from a theme park job, and needing my coffee, hearing kids squeal is not the best first thing in the am, so def take it to go if you want peace! Overall this place was nice, coffee was decent, staff was efficient, and I love the novelty of "cracking a cold one" in the AM. Something that if I wasn't visiting this area I wouldn't get it regularly for the price. But good for the experience! (Two coffees plus a small tip was $19!)

Been Wandering was kinda underwhelming. I chose this location when I visited the area back in May because unfortunately their downtown location is closed on weekends. This one is not in the best area. The parking lot (with an exit into an adjacent alley) made me worried that my window would get smashed at a “tourist” hotspot. Fortunately that didn’t happen. Onto the coffee shop itself though- the vibe of the shop is odd. It’s more like an office building. With a weird attached shared space to a children’s store? The interior felt a bit bland. The service was friendly. I did get myself a cool canned coffee photo that seems to bring them a lot of social media hype. But I didn’t feel much from the coffee. I think I read another review that said they only put 1 shot in the iced lattes? They had some cool merch from a local student artist which I bought. Overall I wish them the best at their “main” location, but I wouldn’t come back to this location.

Bean Wandering is a fun little treasure for coffee lovers in St. Pete! The staff is extremely friendly and genuinely passionate about their product and craft. Super helpful explaining the menu and ingredients in each drink!

Their coffee is so pretty and fun —unique flavors and crafted to perfection. I especially loved their in house canned iced latte, which is their staple signature. Their pastry selection is fresh and delicious, making it the perfect spot for a quick treat or a relaxed morning.

What really stands out is the attention to detail—from the thoughtfully designed space to the impeccable customer service. Whether you’re grabbing a cup on the go or settling in to work or chat, Bean Wandering delivers an experience that’s second to none. Specifically tailored to parents with little ones, the cafe is connected to a Montessori play area and cute boutique with a range of children’s toys books and clothing for 0-8 years old.

If you’re in St. Pete, don’t miss out on this unique concept—it’s a true must-visit for the vibes and iconic...

The two ladies that were working there on November 23 around 1:15 were absolutely rude and not helpful at all. I ordered an iced ginger green tea and it was given to me warm so I asked for more ice that came in a cup. There was ice in the drink but almost completely melted. I left the store and attempted to open the can and it broke. Leaving me unable to drink out of my can. I went back inside only for them to tell me this happens often. So one of the workers started stabbing the can to make a hole. I was asked if I wanted a different cup. Obviously I did tf. I was given a plastic cup not a can. She said that she’ll make it colder admitting to the fact that she gave me a hot drink. The other coworker said well it is a hot drink. No it isn’t if I asked for it iced and when I originally got it with a few ice cubes that were almost melted. Overall, the customer service was awful. The point of going to this coffee shop was for the experience and the canned cup. Her handing me a cup with ice is unacceptable when they could have cooled the tea in the...
