David Reynolds Jewelry and Coin — Local services in Saint Petersburg

I chose David Reynolds to solder my engagement ring and wedding band together because when I called a couple of local shops, I was given a turnaround estimate of 1 week and $50. I mostly went here for the faster turnaround time. When I dropped off my ring, I was told it would be 2 weeks and $80. Not a big deal, just part of my whole experience.

I needed my rings soldered because my wedding band would spin and the diamond side would be backwards. Part of the issue might have been because my wedding band is a 7.5 and my engagement ring is 7.25. I explained this when I dropped my ring off and gave them permission to size my wedding band down to a 7.25 if needed. When I picked it up, they didn’t solder them together so they sit flush. They created a split shank band!!!! For no reason! I wore these rings for nearly a year, and they sit flush perfectly. There was no reason to solder them together with a space in the center. It upsets me all over again just writing this. Now it doesn’t look like a wedding band and engagement ring, but an engagement ring with a split shank. I should have said something when I picked it up, but I was caught off guard and thought maybe I’d end up liking it. But I don’t, and I am upset. I considered taking it back to have it redone, but I don’t want to compromise the metal more by having it heated up again to be redone. I can even feel where, instead of resizing my wedding band, it was just soldered to the engagement ring up a little higher to try and make up for the .25 difference. So, on the underside at the top, my wedding band is higher than my engagement ring. I don’t understand why someone didn’t just call and give me options before taking the liberty and creating a split shank! I am so disappointed. Completely changed the look of my ring(s).

Prices, customer service, excellent job, an really know what they are talking about, and Stephen explains everything to you in my terms he has such wonderful customer service skills! Thank you my jewelry looks beautiful just like the first time no questions I'll be back!!! WOW!!! Let me say I was sooo impressed! I took 4 items here at David Reynolds and they replaced the stone in one, fixed the three. I must say I almost did not recognize my items. They were done so well and was cleaned so nice. You couldn't even see where one of the items were soldered together. I have sold them gold pieces before, but never got anything fixed there before. Well they definitely will be getting more of my business. I recommend this business you will be 1000 percent satisfied I promise..I can not end this without saying their customer services was all the way on point!! Every single person that worked there was friendly and welcoming. This ment a lot to me. I have been other places and was treated like I did not belong there, but not here! I was treated with the up most respect just as I watch them treat every single customer that was there. Thanks David Reynolds I am one happy customer...

it was a wonderful experience. After visiting one of the areas largest advertise jewelry stores . I will not mention the name. I was totally disappointed with the service that I received there. Felt like I just did not get the service that they advertised. I felt rushed, and with the feeling of take it or leave it? So While doing my shopping at that jewelry store. I realized I wasn't in the right place. Then my memory of a jewelry store that I visited in the past for something very special. The place was David Reynolds jewelry on Central Avenue. They just have things that you don't see everywhere. Specialty items that just pop . After my awful experience at the large jewelry store I quickly made a decision to go to David Reynolds jewelry. I should have done that from the very start! But the large jewelry store talked all this smack about how large their selection was, how wonderful the employees treated you. That certainly wasn't the case for me. Once again David Reynolds jewelry came through for me. Sorry, I cannot remember the gentleman's name who waited on me?But it doesn't seem to matter there because everybody has the knowledge and experience and most importantly the politeness! Not one question couldn't be answered. The next time we need a jewelry purchase? there's only one place to go....
