I have always shopped at Dillard’s. I absolutely love this store because of the styles, variety and especially the great discounts they do for people. Now, I usually don’t write reviews, but this needs attention. So, I did not have my Dillard’s card with me and called customer service. They then said talk to management to get an temporary buying card. Now, at first they were hesitant to do it because of all the theft and scams that happen. Which they are protecting me basically so I did not get mad because they ask all these questions. I answered everything about myself and my Dillard’s card. Then the manager got involved because the gentlemen didn’t want to do it for me because he said he can’t even though I had all the information. I called customer service again and they said talk to management. LINDA was the manager that came to talk to me about my situation. She was very professional and respectable. Even though she was hesitant she said she would do it this one time for me if I could answer all my personal information and card information. I of course was able too and she then gave me a shopping pass. The reason why this was so important is because it is my wife’s anniversary and today was the only day I could shop because of my work schedule. She was very professional even though I could see she did not want to do it because she wanted to make sure that the owner of the card was me. Which I was able to provide any information she needed to be able to buy some items. I wanted to say thank you for every sales rep that helped me and especially say thank you to LINDA. THANK YOU LINDA FOR MAKING MY DAY AND HELPING ME MAKE SOME PURCHASES AT DILLARDS. This is the reason I will not shop at Macy’s, JC Penny and Sears. The customer service is outstanding and professional and the manager being very respectable and professional while helping me, but also protecting me and making sure that I was who I said I was..... LINDA I HOPE SOMEONE SEES THIS AND THEY CAN SEE HOW GREAT OF A MANAGER YOU ARE AND HOW HELPFUL YOU ARE TOWARDS...
Read moreI tried to shop here 2 times today. Once on my way into the mall and again on my way out.
The first time I didn't find anyone in the men's section to help. So, I moved on to complete my other shopping.
Returning another hour or so later, I attempted to help myself and to find things on my own. The doors of the rooms to try on clothes were locked and I had to walk around to find someone to open them.
After discovering the 2 items did not fit, I attempted to find the same staff member (or another) to help with finding something in my size and possibly in another brand.
I'm used to wearing 34x30, but this particular brand felt more like a 32x34. So, I wanted to ask if they knew which brands ran big or small in different areas.
I already do not like shopping. So, when I go, I just want to go in and buy what I need and leave. To not have help essentially 3 different time where I actively was searching and couldn't find anyone was upsetting.
Next stop is JC Penny's. Hopefully they will have better customer service and someone who can help me.
I only assume Dillard's gets most of their money from women as there were staff in those areas on the way out, but there was next to no one in the men's areas.
Just one more experience to reinforce, as a male, what I dislike about shopping...
Writing this so I remember not to go back to...
Read moreI stopped at the Tyrone Mall Dillard’s to look for a pair of earrings after going to another Dillard’s in my area. The “other Dillard’s” had plenty of selection, no customers, and a rude salesperson (hence the no customers). After being there 30 mins, being ignored by a tall, blonde sales lady, I put my items down and left. I then drove the 30 mins to Tyrone, where I met Safa Benjdya in the jewelry department. When I first walked into the jewelry department, she was talking to a gentleman, and she looked at me with the biggest smile and said, “hello, let me know if I can help you with anything” PERFECT!! She acknowledged me but was not pushy. When I found what I wanted to purchase, I had a few pricing questions, and she was nearby to help. She was lovely, and we talked for a few mins, and it was apparent how much she loves her job. She helped me pick out a few more items I had not even considered but now love and wear often. Safa is a true gem to the jewelry department at Dillard’s, and I hope they realize it. I now drive past the “other Dillard’s” with the rude, tall blonde lady with a foreign accent and will shop with Safa at...
