Look: I am not the kind of person who needs to be waited on when I'm shopping--I actually prefer to be left to my own devices... however ... the first 2 times I came in here, I was on my way home after work and so I was in nice clothing. I was treated well, with a friendly attitude, which is all anyone can hope for. The third time, I came in on my day off wearing street clothes (jeans and a tank, not as though I looked like a bum) and was not greeted. I only really thought about this after the fact. I was in the store looking for something specific that I saw online but since the sizes in their line of clothing seem to be smaller than what I'm used to (and I'm petite) I wanted to try it on in store. I searched for about 15 minutes to no avail when one of the ladies deigned to speak to me. I said "I'm looking for a skirt I saw on the website, but maybe it's only available online." I feel like this was a pretty forward social cue that maybe I need assistance locating something. Instead of helping or maybe pointing me in the right direction, the attendant (and I use this word loosely here) said "okay" and walked away. I stood around for another few minutes thinking maybe she was busy or would send someone else over but nothing. I'm not giving this store a poor review because I realize maybe I should have been more proactive about finding someone to help me but after that interaction, I felt like they couldn't be bothered. I left without buying anything. Ladies, I work with VERY affluent clients, who have more funds sitting in their "fun money" account than you or I would see in 20 years. MOST of them do not dress like they're wealthy. My highest dollar client rides a bicycle and looks like a beach bum. I suggest the people working here keep that in mind and maybe watch the "BIG MISTAKE" scene from Pretty Woman again... Tried looking for business attire in another store in this shopping mall and the items they have were WAY too big (didn't used to be the case, I think that's just that store's style right now)... I'm not tiny, but on the smaller side and EXPRESS has my size--and I look good! The cuts are almost tailored and I feel like I look professional... I've some high-dollar clients and need to make the right impression, or at the very least, not the wrong impression. U get one star after i walked around your store for 30 mins , found a bunch of cute stuff, and u then informed me I COULD NOT TRY ANY OF IT ON. U should post a note in your atore window stating the dressings rooms are closed so this way people know and dont waste their time shopping. Express at Ellington let me try on clothes and i didnt die from Covid so theres no excuse other than u guys dont want...
