If there was a negative review they would take the prize. I spend plenty of money in their store, and today I went in for a birthday card for my mother in law with my daughter. I had my 4 year old on my hip when she started to take a card from the shelf that she wanted me to look at for her grandmother when one of their staff decided to grab my daughters hand and try to take the card from her. I stopped the older woman by spinning my daughter slightly to look at the woman and tell her that we were looking at that card. When I asked if there was a reason why she just grabbed my daughters hand like that her response was, “I saw the card moving, but that’s ok”, and rolled her eyes at me. I was completely thrown back by this woman’s actions toward another person let alone a child so I decided to let the manager know who in return defended her employee and told me that the store was crowded and they have to fix the cards. Read moreI’m very disappointed because I really like this store. I went there on a Tuesday night at 7:50 when they close at 8 pm. I know it was cutting it close but I’m a single mother and I was trying to pick up a quick gift for Mother’s Day that I had already picked out online. I went to the front door and it was locked and I pulled it a few times. The girls at the registers just stared at me like I had three heads. My family owns our own small business and know better than to do that to people. I could see if they had to close early because of an issue where someone had to go home but clearly they were just trying to get out of there right at 8pm. I’m sorry that I won’t be returning there but that left a very bad impression on me.
