Quick Note: $50 Non-Refundable Try-On Fee I’m glad I’m not the only one with an awful experience. šŸ˜‚ Not just once either, MULTIPLE times. The shop is clean (nothing too special about it) with very beautiful dresses, but the shop employee was dreadful, and that’s putting it nicely. I’d put her *maybe* in her 30’s. On one hand, I tried to be understanding. Bridal dress shopping, historically, has been an event where a bride-to-be and friends book an appointment, go in semi-formal attire, and have fun. The employee still seems to have this mindset, which would be fine… if you didn’t have a location in the Salem Mall. Your location is walk-in, where all walks of life can come in to explore your dresses. I’m sure there’s plenty who abuse this option; I know it happens at make-up stores often… can you blame them? It’s one thing to turn away someone who is misbehaving. After having to ā€œchase downā€ this holier-than-thou woman who clearly has better things to do with her time rather than pay attention to an engaged, hopeful bride-to-be, we were told almost immediately to leave her store. Why? Because the bride-to-be ā€œdoesn’t look the part.ā€ Hey - I’m sorry we came to the mall in jeans and a sweatshirt on a cold day in the middle of winter. Sorry we don’t fit ā€œyour look.ā€ Except… I’m not sorry. Shame on you for discouraging ANYONE who’s looking for the perfect dress for their special day. Shame on you for making anyone feel like they’re not good enough to shop there. Shame on you for ruining what is supposed to be a wonderful experience. If you REALLY hate your life that much, quit. Seeing as I’m far from the only one leaving a review like this, I’m going to safely guess the common denominator here is the same employee.

The sales rep is by the far the rudest woman I have ever dealt with. I specifically drove almost an hour to find a formal dress for an upcoming anniversary cruise formal event.... was in the store 30 minutes looking for a dress... nobody approached or even acknowledged we were there. I finally found a gorgeous dress that I'm sure was several hundreds of dollars but I was excited it seemed to be my size and wanted to try it on.... fully prepared to pay for it if it was indeed "the dress" I went to wait to try it on.... the sales rep was chatting away with a friend and when she finally looked at me before I could say a word she snapped "prom dresses by appointment only" incredibly rudely...I said I wasn't there for prom I was there for a cruise and needed a dress for Friday... she repeated 3 times appointments only but never gave me any options of when that would be and just walked away shakng her head no when I asked if I could just try on the dress. I was ready to drop up to $1k on the perfect dress and after this experience I wouldn't even recommend this place at all. Terrible way to treat customers..... being short staffed is not justification for poor attitude, rude and curt communication and honestly if you don't care about your sales then just...

Extremely disappointed at the service here. Payed a $50 non refundable fee to try on 1 dress. The "owner" seemed liked she was in lala land and we had to be chasing her down to help with the services. I felt pressured into buying a dress just cause it looked good on me but I couldn't even lift my arms because of the stiching. How can I dance, or throw my flowers in mid air if I can't wave my hands in the air like i just dont care!? After thinking hard about my decision on this dress I called within the month I had put the down-payment and kindly asked if I could change my dress or get a refund. Unfortunately because she was in lala land she forgot to mention the dress was a final sale and she couldn't do any of my options. It is very sad that a place of business that is supposed to bring good memories and happiness to women is running like that. This store will never see another dollar from me or my family/friends because I will...
