Olivia's — Local services in Salem

I stopped by Olivia’s about 2 weeks ago, and I have to say, this boutique is full of the most fun and adorable finds! I went in specifically looking for something purple, as my grandmother’s celebration of life was coming up, and that was her favorite color. After browsing, I came across the most perfect pink and purple wool trench coat—it felt like such a special find.

At checkout, the woman who helped me (I didn’t catch her name) was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly and warm, and when I mentioned what the coat was for, the conversation became even more meaningful. She took the time to ask about my grandma, and her kindness made the moment feel so heartfelt. As I was leaving, she told me she’d be thinking about my family, and though it was such a small gesture, it meant the world to me. That short interaction turned what had been a tough day into something much brighter, and I’m so grateful for her...

Seems like a really nice place! They always have very lovely clothes there. My only complaint is that I wish they carried just a little more for bigger women, but it's certainly not bad! They've always been very kind when I've gone- and I'm fairly used to people judging me when I enter a store: I'm fairly large for a woman and rather tomboyish, so walking into a nice store with pretty clothes often gets me a lot of weird stares. Not here though! They were always very sweet to me, and I am always happy to visit the store. Can't wait to have a little extra income to get something nice!

I would advise ignoring the previous negative reviews. Thieves come in all shapes and sizes, and if you're acting like a thief and get defensive when people act cautious about you, then you're not making your case look any better. Homeless people are not always thieves, and thieves are not always homeless. How cruel to say...

During my recent shopping visit, I encountered two employees who left markedly different impressions. The older lady was pleasant and friendly, making the experience initially enjoyable. However, the younger female's behavior was disappointingly rude, turning what could have been a positive experience into an unpleasant one.
