We've eaten here several times and had the worst dining experience today. The place was empty at lunch on a Saturday, which should have been a sign. Their menu seems very limited compared to what it used to be. Only two other groups were there and had their food already, so we were literally the only ones with orders in at the time. Our orders were taken in a decent amount of time, but it took about 30 minutes for our friends just to get their sodas. Our group (5 adults and 2 toddlers) ordered 4 burgers, grilled cheese and 2 orders of fish and chips. Our food took at least 45 minutes after ordering to come out. The waitress brought out everything except for two of the burgers that took probably 10 minutes longer to arrive. The burgers were overcooked, and the fish and chips (seemed like frozen, definitely not house-battered) didn't even come with cole slaw. No kids menu which was fine, it's not really a kid-friendly place and their basic burger and grilled cheese are cheap. After being there for about 1.5 hours we finally had to go ask for our bills because the server never came back after checking on us once, and our toddler's patience was gone. It would have been nice to hear at least an apology for the long wait, or the lag time between getting all of the food to our table, but never got one. We'll...
Read moreWent for the drag brunch. First and foremost, the performers were amazing. They are the sole reason anyone would be here on a Sunday at 11am. The Night Deposit charged $25 for brunch, $20 for bottomless mimosas, and an additional $20 to reserve a table. Even though doors opened at 10am it took forever for food to come out, many not eating til 12:30pm or later. They also forgot to take the order of an entire section. When the food came out it was disgusting and cheap. It was cold and undercooked. The french toast was soggy and definitely not cooked, it didn't even come with syrup. The hash browns were a super small portion and not crunchy at all, barely cooked through. I was given maybe 1 tbsp of the driest, nastiest eggs ever. The bacon was the only semi-decent thing. I wasn't about to spend $45 (thank god) for the bottomless mimosas, but those were the only things that were probably worth the price.
Do NOT eat here. With what people paid to be here I cannot believe they actually served what they did and didn't refund everyone their money, little of which actually went to any...
Read moreI am from the east coast and this is my second time coming to Oregon since my family came. I’ve been to many towns in the state. Salem is not known for its clubs or lounges just really bars. I was told to come here because I was tired of the long travel to party. The first time I did not make it in because I came when they weren’t letting people in anymore. Only thing I think would be a fair change to consider is if they allowed the people who were already in to come back in and who ever did not meet the dead line has to come back another day and for a visitor of the town make an exception If they come an hour before closing since other states let you in still least 30 mins before closing, being that they did not know you have to be in before 12. My second visit I made it in and for a place in Salem it was worth it. Great music a mixture of pop, and hip hop old and popular today’s music, a fair sized dance area, and reasonable priced drinks. Fair price to get in. Me and my cuzn came up to visit and we plan to stop...
