There is nothing quite as special as having a custom, one of a kind piece of artwork to wear. I have used Roy John for multiple projects and multiple in store purchases. His prices are fair and honest, some projects I come to him with an idea and budget and he lays out what he can do and type of stone to use. Other times I browse his in store collection when I am in town. I have 7 separate rings, including a custom wedding ring and wedding band, and my husband has 3 separate rings from Roy John. I have multiple necklaces and earrings and bracelets; all more unique and special than the last. This kind of craftsmanship you cannot find anywhere else. I have also brought jewelry to him that he has not made to be fixed, such as a turquoise ring bought with sentimental value that needed to be repaired. There are world class gold and platsmiths in Portland and given this experience it's...

Didn't notice until he got home the poor work. People are eager to show you the good work not eager to hide it. Several mistakes were made where you can see it was sanded. And even one spot where it was hit fairly hard with a hammer. To have someone do this kind of work and not even admit to the wrongs is a shame It takes a different kind of person to hide mistakes a complete lack of accountability Mistakes are forgiven when told about when you hide the...
