Salem Techsperts — Local services in Salem

I had never met anyone at Techsperts before I brought my computer (an iMAC) in yesterday. The iMac Google settings had simply disappeared from Network Settings on my computer. and I could not get them to reappear. That meant I had no G-Mail account in Apple Mail, I couldn't share Google Calendar posts on iCal, my messages consisted of phone numbers only without any names because all my Google contacts also went away. Going there was a desperation move done almost entirely on faith because I had never met anyone associated with the place before though someone I know did tell me he heard they did good work. Besides, I also figured any computer repair business inside a Subway Sandwich Shop deserved props. I won't describe all the (lengthy) details but both Lupe, behind the desk, and Andy Harding, the owner took exceptional care of me and the problem. Turned out the hard drive had to be replaced and Andy actually took my iMac home to work on it last night. He managed to resolve the issue and then reviewed everything with me in-person today before returning the machine. Throughout he showed remarkable patience and good cheer. My screen went dead on my galaxy s6 and after going to multiple Verizon stores. Freedom Communications sent me here. As soon as he saw the phone, he was able to tell me that the phone was stuck in a "boot loop" and all I needed was a new screen. NOW... WHY DIDN'T ANYONE AT VERIZON TELL ME THIS?!?!? Meanwhile I already had put in a claim for the new phone from insurance. In the meantime, he ordered a new screen for which I paid for and then when it came in, went straight to work. Unfortunately for me, someone along the line factory reset my entire phone and I lost everything so it wasn't worth the screen in comparison to the insurance phone. And Andy tried EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING he could to get all my information back... When the result was given to me, not only did he show and explain what he did and how. But he refunded me everything I paid for since it didn't benefit me! I can't say enough good things about him, and one you meet him... I can GUARANTEE you...

Fall 2020: My Mac Mini was nearly dead, and Andy brought it back to life in no time. The guy is a miracle worker. AND he offers friendly, patient customer service and his prices are very reasonable. Very happy I found this place. Look no further.

I am a technophobe, but Andy swept away all my fears. If you’re fearful you’ll sound like a dinosaur who’s out-of-touch or overwhelmed by all the bells and whistles, then be sure to go to this guy. He doesn’t talk over your head with gobbledegook tech jargon. He speaks like a human being who cares to help his customers understand.
