I just returned home from an incredibly upsetting and disappointing visit at ATG. I have used ATG four times since June of this year as a 'backup' when I'm short for my regular delivery dispensary. My previous visits were friendly enough and the service was very professional. I would Not give them high marks for their flower 'adult use' selection as I've Never seen more than six strains available. Even though I do not have a medical card, I do rely on medical marijuana for some of my serious physical issues. Today would have been my 5th visit. I placed an order online at 8:30 am and when ready I took the train from Beverly to Salem. The problem occurred with my expired state id card. My id has an expiration date of 7/2/20 but according to the RMV they state this: "Driver’s licenses and ID cards that will expire in July have been extended until November 2020." which can be verified right through their website. Now, when I arrived this morning and the guard was getting me checked in, I told him my id was expired and as a matter of fact, I just received my temporary id from the rmv yesterday. I knew it was not acceptable but I thought showing both together would be no problem. Well, the guard, after checking with someone inside, would not accept it. When I told him I've been here before with no problem, it didn't matter. I also told him about the extension period from the rmv and he said that 'he knew the laws, and my id was expired on 7/2!' He kept like body blocking me from entering, not that i was trying, but i was getting upset. Here are the dates of my previous visits which again, can be verified. 6/28/20, 7/2/20, 7/22/20 and 7/28/20. Now, on the three dates of expiry, the employee And guard who dealt with me those days were what, breaking the law? Being nice to me? Wow, really? I was/am so upset because the guard made me feel like I was...idk, just really NOT Welcome! I wish I could say I won't use them again, but in times of desperation I am grateful to be able to even get some medicinal aid. Today was a bad visit and shame on someone for sure :( I want to say one last thing, there are many more options for people than just the two dispensaries in Salem. You can go right to Allbud.com for a pretty comprehensive listing of dispensaries in the surrounding areas, and many of them deliver! The main con for delivery would be some require a minimum but the pros are many. From getting Freebies such as cookies, a lolli or even a few free g's, you'd be surprised what arrives in your medical bag! Another pro is Selection, selection, selection. I don't know about the other dispensary here but during my four past visits at ATG I never saw more than six strains offered, with as a little as three at 8:30 in the morning. It's nice to be able to choose from a menu of 15-25 strains, and that's on a bad day! There are a few more positives from ordering online but I've said enough, I just wanted to...
Read moreWhen I started visiting this dispensary the medicine was top shelf. Customer service was AAA+! Over the years the place has lost its all around potency.
Example: when I started visiting this dispensary most of the patients knew what they wanted. Now, it’s all FAQ for a dam pre-roll while the iron lungs sit and wait. They had a line dedicated to “newbies” but they did away with it; why I don’t know.
When I started visiting this dispensary the medicine was strong. Now it’s o....k. It’s just not what it use to be. Because she’s on the distillates that come in glass containers; often to the side and the spelling runs to the top of the cab. They’ll instruct you to keep that still contain operates but failed to mention there for storing process.
When I started visiting this dispensary the prices were too high! THEY’RE STILL TOO HIGH! Cross the NH or ME broader and the prices at other dispensaries drop by 60%. I understand the cost associated with physically getting the medicine to the shelves so I can be sold. That’s not my problem, that’s their problem and that’s a problem that needs to be fixed. Their prices are high because the price they’re being charged for their equipment is too high. Caca rolls downhill. If this place wants to continue operating within the green they’ll need to figure something out because the entire system is stressful and granted the pandemic slowed a lot of new dispensaries from hitting the market, that’s not gonna...
Read moreI’ve been here well over ten times, I go here purely for the convenience. Absolutely anytime I’m near a dispensary that isn’t ATG I jump at the opportunity. Every single time I go in they have at most three strains for non medical users, they are cash only, they are expensive, their online ordering is absolutely terrible, the staff are typically grumpy and impatient/ loudly arguing w each other. And honestly one of my biggest gripes is I have been here as soon as they open, mid day and right before close and they have not once ever had a pre roll I could buy, every time I go in I ask if they sell them and every time they give me more attitude and tell me it’s my bad timing? I already made a yelp review and the manager replied back lying about her product line up so just if you don’t need mind driving a litttle further youre so so so much better off...
