Willamette Towne Center Ulta Visit ⢠My Shop-Stop was a disappointment. It was a Rainy Day. ⢠I thought I could quick-stop Ulta-Willamette and pick up supplies on my online list so I didnāt have to wait for delivery. Who knew LāOrĆ©alās N1 or any product that used that color system was a shelf no show. ⢠Sure Keizer Station is my favorite Ulta Oregon location, yet I had ācomplete confidenceā in being able to do a Willamette Center, Dart 'n Dash. ⢠When What to my Frozen in the Foyer--Freaked Out by My Sight, appeared a Customer Service Specialist, asking, āCan I assist you?ā ⢠Had I not left my phone in the car, I would have direct dialed: Ulta, the Big Headquarters in Paris and asked if they were aware of this Pop-Up? ⢠High-end Toilet water Perfume was on the lower level of the Cheapest Display. If that wasnāt bad enough, the focal display: ⢠Picture this: a restaurantās dumpster. Doors open to Super Sale items except they werenāt super and the prices were as usual āFor Saleā stickers. ⢠(I redacted all Customer Service except) The most excellent CSA Young Woman seemingly banned to the back East corner. I wish I knew her name. She had skills worthy of the up-scale stores (the ones above snotty) the store I could run into saying, āI've only a momentā and was always treated like a Queen. ⢠Pop-Up sales are sweet. However, they usually carry āGotta Get'sā along with can't go home without. ⢠Imagine neither? ⢠Redacted THE REST. I JUST LOVE ULTA TOO MUCH!!! ļ¶ I will return! This must have been a bad day? Surely no one could read a map, no one knew how less -than-joyful vendors would be, when they said they were flip-flopped from Keizer, (they) did not know what flipping and flopping meant? ļ¶ Perhaps Customer Sservice Specialists were not yet briefed on the meaning of: Being rude to a patron or Perhaps they were and they were doing it most excellent, except for the Ulta Angel banned to Back Store East.
In conclusion: it is of utmost importance for the help to KNOWāwhile they are in the store earning money, the folks entering are spending money.
P.S. I only spent something like $75.00. My budget was like 5 times more. Then there was additional amount set aside for my, "I Simply Cannot Live...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store is convenient with a good variety of vendors. If you can find someone to help you, the employees seem sincere and professional. However, I discovered through their "Rewards Program" where they ask customers for their phone number with every purchase, my personal data was 'shared'.
I discovered this after receiving an invitation through the mail, for a credit card with a bank I'd not heard of before. Then did some research, including phoning the company's 800 number to inquire how the bank, got my name and address. I was told that the company works directly with the bank who sent the invite, to offer their customers credit cards. Essentially, customer DATA is being shared through their "Rewards Program" with 3rd parties!
Transparency matters, but the Cashier did not inform me upfront the FIRST time they asked for my phone number for their "Rewards Program" that my personal Data may/would be shared with 3rd parties. I had to phone the 800 number and request to Opt-Out of the Rewards Program and will not provide my phone number if I shop there in the future.
Personal Data 'sharing' is on the rise, through retail, social media and big tech! Whether you care or not about what companies (even healthcare providers) do with personal Data, should be a personal choice. For those who take it seriously, it's up to you to let the company or service know, and OPT-OUT! It is not The Law to provide personal info., when retail shopping and if consumers don't push back, nothing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first visit back in June wasn't good. My daughter was getting her make-up done for graduation and I was in a hurry looking for makeup. One of the guys that works in the makeup section was very helpful. He helped me find the correct shade on a few items. He was very personable. Unfortunately, trying to check out was very disappointing. I walked right up to the checkout counter because I didn't see anyone in line and the employee rudely pointed out where the line starts so I went and stood behind another customer. After waiting at least 10 minutes for them to complete checkout with that customer I approached the same employee and she pointed to someone who wasn't even in line and said that the other customer was being helped before and she asked me to get back in line. At this point I'm getting irritated. I have my daughter's graduation to get to and running out of time. I remind this employee what she told me and requested that she help me since I was standing in line and this was taking too long and my situation. She reluctantly agreed to help me. I work in customer service and couldn't believe how poor it is there. The second time I went in wasn't any better. The makeup guys are awesome it's the rest of the employees that need training. The manager lady wasnt good either. It feels very uppity/snobby in this store and they are very slow at checkout. Definitely need to step their game up and remember that it's not Rodeo Drive, it's...
