Little Green Apple — Local services in Saline

In my entire 46 years I have never before written a negative review of any place. But I will for this Little Green Apple Store in Saline. I bought 2 Hallmark Keepsakes ornaments totaling $48 from this store and 5 days later on 12/13 I decided on a different gift so I returned to the store for a refund. I hadn’t even touched the ornaments they were still in the store bag and I had my receipt. An older gentleman that I assume was the store owner (since he was trying to sell items to customers in the store) let me know that normally they don’t take returns on ornaments/seasonal items. But, he said let me take a look. He opened the ornament boxes and let me know that the best he could offer is a store credit. Well, if it wasn’t $48 I may have but $48 is $48. I remained pleasant but let him know I wouldn’t be returning to this particular store again. I then called 4 other hallmark stores in the area and they all said that if I had the receipt and I returned the Hallmark Keepsake ornaments before Christmas I would receive the refund..no issues. So, not sure what the issue is at this store in Saline but I WILL be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. Wonderful Hallmark store in Saline! There is always an incredible selection of items for sale. So much more than "just" ornaments and cards. I've been able to buy something for everyone on my Christmas list here!
