Pointers Ace Hardware — Local services in Salisbury

I love having a locally owned hardware store in town. It's in a super convenient location and the inventory is not overwhelming. I can usually find what I need in a hurry. There is one guy there that seems to have a poor attitude and seems up tight tight. I once heard him on the phone loudly scolding someone at an auto shop over a $70 service bill. I didn't know you can get anything done at an auto shop for that cheap. I don't know if he's the owner or manager or what. Everyone else is very pleasant and I will continue to patronize...

Said they had a SALE on there new paint products buy 2 5 gal and get 1 free. Went to purchase and they told me they could.not sale it because it wasn't in there system. Was told to come back and when I came back they were ready to sale the paint but wanted full price no sale. Now how do you run a sale on merchandise you can not sale? You can't this is false advertisement. Never had problems before until now. There new paint supplier needs to learn better...

Great to have True Value Hardware in the neighborhood! You can usually find what you need there. The staff are friendly and helpful. The last time I was there I drove my sister over to get a handle for an old drawer. She insisted on taking the drawer with her to see if it fit!?
