I cannot thank the staff at this office enough for treating both myself and my kitty cat with the utmost kindness and care during our visit.
My cat, Billy, had a dental emergency on Monday afternoon and I was a wreck. My wife and I spent several hours calling all of the local clinics seeing if we could get him seen. We moved on from clinic to clinic as the staff stated over the phone that their surgeon's had departed, that they don't handle dental, that they don't have availability, etc. We called West Innes Animal Hospital and was able to get him into the vet at this office within twelve hours.
This is a family-run business - the original Dr. Steinman is the vet that Billy saw. He is incredibly knowledgeable and his bedside manner, even in an emergency, provides such a comforting atmosphere for the humans as well as the animals. The treatment costs were very reasonable and the aftercare instructions were very clear.
It has been two days since he had four teeth extracted, and Billy is the most active and happy I have seen him in months - and I am awash with relief.
I am so grateful to the staff at West Innes...
Read moreWe adopted a pup from Rowan County Animal shelter. That alone is another conversation. We were told that this vet would perform the neutering of our said dog. Now understand this, my husband who bless him... has never owned a dog before... got taken for a ride by this place. We were charged fee for the neutering. 80 for a second chip. And 15 for pain meds a slew of boosters 75ish.....grand total 470.00. I saw the 470 hit our account and thought... hmmm something happen... thats high for neutering. I spoke to a woman at clinic who stated they charged 300 for small dog ours was considered small. Voucher we purchased was for 70. . For sure had my husband called and knew pricing in advance we would gone to a different clinic. Several who would have been 1/2 the price. So there's no magic given to your 4 legged child whilst at this facility. They sure saw a sucker coming when they saw my hubby coming....
Read moreWe moved here several years ago and chose West Innes Animal Hospital to take care of our babies when needed. They always treat our dogs kind and are very helpful. Dr. Miller takes great care of my dog Weezy and reassures me everything will be okay when there is an issue. We took our other dog here to get spayed and they called me with updates and loved on her the entire time she was there. We had lost our mother in laws dog due to complications from another animal altercation in the neighborhood. They stayed late to help as much as they could and went out of their way to look up the closest emergency hospital to try and save her. I will always take my fur babies here because I know they will be cared for and get the...
