Everytime weâve brought our dog heâs been well attended- as far as weâre concerned. However, recently when we got the call that he was ready for pickup, the groomer who I think was Jill said that he had a skin âgrowthâ like a little bump near his paw that had been accidentally shaven off with the razor since it was over the skin and âcovered in furâ so it wasnât seen. I believed her and went in to pick up my dog. When I was there, they handed him to me and I checked and she was like âhere, see?â Pointing at the area. I checked and oh my- did they take me as a joke? THEY CUT OFF HIS DEW CLAW. For those who arenât aware of what that is itâs basically his pawâs thumb. Arenât they âcertified and professionalsâ well do you think Iâm dumb enough not to know that itâs a dew claw and not a âskin growthâ?? I was very very disappointed. But I decided to let it go because that day I didnât feel like arguing with them. Also- that same day when I walked in, there were three women only two grooming a dog at a table (not even grooming just had the dog in front of her while chatting), the other standing around chatting with the other two. I guess only the one facing forward saw me when I walked in and as the other two continued chatting and the other who was facing me greeted me, one of the ones chatting even said âoopâ pretty loud, like super surprised and got right back to work and stopped chatting. Like I had caught them fooling around because not only were they chatting they were laughing and joking- totally unprofessional. I get it if youâre chatting with coworkers while working but to disregard the dog leashed on the table in front of you which youâre supposed to be grooming and cutting- thatâs not something youâd do while on the clock at your job. So I left pretty irritated about the dew claw cutting incident but I was unsure of who to contact regarding this. Because having the audacity to tell me itâs a skin growth? mmm yeah no. Oh! And might I mention that last week my aunt went in with her dog and she witnessed the most absurd and horrific thing. A dog had fallen from the table while leashed- so practically dangling off the leash by the table and the groomer pulled the dog up by the leash. The poor dog was getting choked while being pulled up. The most reckless and uncaring thing to do if youâre an employee who is being trusted with hundreds of dogs. If they did that in front of my aunt, I canât imagine what they do to the poor dogs when customers arenât around. Itâs honestly disgusting and I hope this was a onetime thing for that groomer and the groomers who cut my dog. But even then- it shouldnât happen at all- zero times. This needs to be addressed with theyâre employers and managers- If not- theyâll definitely lose recurring clients. We go there and spend almost 100 dollars in grooming about three times a single month. Weâre paying lots of money to have our dogs mistreated and neglected. FIX THIS NOW. Iâm considering suing since the literally handed my dog back to me BLEEDING. How is...
Read moreI took my son's sheltie/Aussie mix in for a full service grooming to get him bathed and clipped. I got a call from them shortly after dropping him off saying that they would not complete the service because he had too many ticks on him. We live in the woods so it is hard to keep ALL the ticks off of him even though he IS up to date on all his shots and his flea and tick medicine AND I just went through his whole coat that morning to check for ticks. However, i went to pick him up and they told me that they had already bathed and dried him so I owed 36.99 for the bath. I didn't complain. I just paid for it because I knew it WAS possible that he did have ticks because of where we live. After I get him home I started to look at him and I swear there is NO WAY that he had been bathed. His ears were still yucky. He still had a gray mark where his collar tags hang. He still had small knots on his legs and still smelled like a dog. I bath this dog about every 2 weeks. I know what he looks like and feels like after a bath. There is no way they bathed him. They sprayed some type of perfume on him so he would come out a little damp but his hair was still very dirty after looking at him. I called and received a full refund but I did spend the entire afternoon fooling with this place. I understand if he had too many ticks but DON'T lie to me and say that you bathed him when you clearly didnt. Also, when I went to receive my refund the manager did not apologize or anything. She acted irritated that I had come back. She wrote on the paper that I was not satisfied. When I said that it wasn't about not being satisfied...my dog was never bathed. She cut me off and said she wasn't going to argue but she knows for a fact that he was. Funny though how she didn't want to see the dog or argue about the refund. If they had bathed the dog there would be no reason for them to refund the entire amount which they did. I don't mind paying for services but don't lie to me and...

They could care less especially the Vets the shelters are so overwhelmed i may not have much money for vets but at least they get fed properly a warm home and lots of love if you prove to them you are helping animals they should have compassion and help me with them but they would rather have me go without paying my bills , and would care less if they died or not , i can't remember when i went shopping to buy myself something if i need clothes its from good will just so i can spend my money on helping my rescues Veterinarian's in Md.
