I’ve been coming here almost since they opened and have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt many times. The owners and the main female bartender are snobby and only like people that look like them. I drink very little and in the past I’ve been refused service after one drink with no explanation - when I was talking to another patron who had too much to drink. It happened again (July 2025) after I joked with one of the owners, Mario, about it - over a year after it happened. I was also complimenting some of the new things like the karaoke, so in no way was I being rude. I was just attempting a little small talk in case he had a sense of humor. Apparently he doesn’t like to be reminded of his poor service, or maybe he doesn’t like non-Latinos because after that the bartender suddenly wouldn’t serve me and said I know who to talk to if I had a problem. Dejavú all over again so I asked if he told her not to serve me and asked if it was because I made a light joke about the previous time. He then told me I could leave and said I wasn’t welcome back. Suddenly his entourage of clearly drunk patrons asked me to leave. I tried to close my tab of one drink and they wouldn’t let me - they said they’d take care of it. They said I’m not welcome back - which is perfectly fine with me. One guy came out and stayed behind a bit and didn’t understand why they did that - I said nothing rude and was 100% sober. Anyway, if you enjoy cliquish, snowflake owners and bartenders who don’t care about long time customers, and apparently only like to serve people who look like them, then come on in. This place will be happy to take your money - and if you schmooze the owner enough with only raving compliments you can get as stumbling drunk as you want to and join his inner circle. This place went downhill when Ashanti left. They had some other good bartenders for awhile but drove them all out. That’s the only reason I kept coming back. Happy to never step...
Read moreI was super eager to take my coworker here since I loved the happy hour and good vibes. The bartender was rude, which was shocking the other bartenders are always so nice, mind you there were only 6 people in there at the time which included my coworker and I. In addition to watching her being super nice to the couple a few seats down from us, we were had to flag her down for service, we had to get up and get our own napkins and straws . She was a horrible bartender with a nasty attitude, not a good first impression on my coworker. I will most likely be back because I’m not letting someone ruin an experience for me but probably won’t be back for happy hour is she’s bartending. This happened Monday...
Read moreCool place. Great craft cocktails. Mario was a nice, knowledgeable and efficient bartender. I would have stayed longer if it weren't for the blow hard that came in and sat two stools over and began bitching that there was no DJ, and worse, spouting his inane political beliefs at me, blithely unaware of the multiple social cues I tossed his way to kindly shut the hell up. None of that reflects on the staff or the establishment, of course. Just bad luck and bad timing on my part. Looking forward to going back and not running into...
