King William Fair — Local services in San Antonio

I read and looked up everything I needed to make my experience easy, especially when it came to the blast pass. I pre bought the admission tickets and money for the blast pass. Luckily I got my food tickets activated during the parade when there wasn’t a line. Many people didn’t even know they had to activate the blast pass separate from entering the fair. My issue came when I had to add money to the pass. It took over an hour for my blast pass to update! Showing me that it went through on the portal but when getting drinks it wasn’t showing on the food vendor side. This took an hour away from us being able to enjoy ourselves. When I’m spending 20 dollars per person to enter, not including fees, this is unacceptable. I talked to a mom who was struggling to keep her child entertained waiting in line to activate her blast pass, and it was her first fiesta experience. It’s just sad, and it definitely ruined the...

Blast Pass is the most ridiculous thing you all could have implemented. To wait in a long line to get in, then to wait in another long line to “activate” the blast pass. I added credits via online ($3.50 transaction fee) only to wait in line for a drink for vendor to tell me “it says insufficient funds.” They said I had to wait 15-20 min before the credits would work. Are you serious? Me and several others had to go and wait in yet another line (blue/white tent) to see if they could troubleshoot our bracelets. It wasn’t working after 45 minutes. Then at the end of day, we wanted to combine credits from 2 bracelets, only to be told we can’t do that. We would have add more credits (with the 3.50 transaction fee) if we wanted to spend the full credits. Again, are you serious?

Participating as a vendor at the King William Fair for the first time was an incredible experience! Among the various markets I’ve attended, this one truly stands out for its exceptional organization and welcoming atmosphere. The provision of shuttle services for pick-up and drop-off made accessing my booth effortless, saving time and energy. Throughout the day, dedicated volunteers checked in regularly, ensuring we had everything we needed, including refreshing water to keep us hydrated.

The event itself was vibrant and full of life. I was captivated by the charming neighborhood, and the parade was a delightful highlight.
