(I want to let all my viewers know to please plan in advance for parking.) I thought this place was a amazing! I love how we could reserve online in advance.
Fom the moment you walk in you can feel and smell the latin culture! The ambiance set to start off with was magnificent. We were politely greeted and it was not yet crowded so we got to pick our table. The gentleman that serve us was very friendly and kind. He handed us our menus and allowed us ample time to look over. He did give us 3 menus. A regular one, one that show a 3 course meal that gave an option and that is $35 a person which includes appetizer, entree, and a dessert, and of course the drink menu. I like to always start with a smooth drink before dinner so I asked for a Cuba libre. I hadn't had one in years. Omg the taste, the flavor, it was made to perfection! Not to strong not to weak it was just amazing in taste. My husband order the raspberry mojito. I took and sip and it was also perfect. Now on to the appetizer I wanted to keep it simple as even though my husband is open to eating whatever it was just easier for me to explain what we were eating because I have already cooked it before. So we order the tostones in mojo. It was very fresh, and full of flavor. It was not precooked as the taste was incredible. For our entree we were going to share as I am a bypass patient and can't eat a lot. But man am I glad he didn't understand that is what we were wanting to do. Lol We order the parillia mixta. Omg it was mind blowing the flavor, the aromas and the presentation was on point! I ate more than i should as it was beyond my taste buds could possibly explain. I finish the night off with another drink Passion Rum Smash and it too was delicious. It was a bit pricey but so worth every single dollar spent. I will definitely go back and order a different dish as I'm curious to taste what other latin dishes they have available. Give this place a try. Date night would be perfect. Trust me my friend, you will not be...
Read moreI took my mom and my family there today around 545pm and we were sat at a table. I told the waiter we already knew what we wanted, and put in an order for fruit creme brulee and him we'd keep the drink menu. A minute later a mean old woman says out loud in front of the restaurant that if we're not going to order food we need to go outside to the patio! Never have I received such horrible service and attitude. The old lady said that they have reservations and they need the tables. I let her know that we did order the fruit creme brulee. But she was so rude and told us we had to go sit outside.
First of all there were plenty of tables available in the restaurant only 4 were being used. Second, why sit us down and give us menus if the table was reserved? Because it wasn't. It upset the old lady that we were only ordering the fruit creme brulee and alcoholic drinks. Third, why not come talk to us at our table instead of yelling in frustration in front of the whole restaurant? It's so small there that you made a scene and made us feel so uncomfortable. Lastly, it is over 101° outside!!!! It is so hot and you want us to go sit out there when there are tables available inside! I don't get why you're so cold. You're a money hungry bitter woman.
The situation was embarrassing for me and my family. My heart broke because I was bragging to my mom about how good the food and service was the first time I brought my family. I can't believe this happened.
Please lady, if you're reading this learn to be kind. Talk to your customers the right way. Try being understanding. It wasn't going to take very long for us to eat the fruit creme brulee and we always tip well. The restaurant was NOT busy.
I could never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I do commend the waiter that sat us down, when we were leaving he mouthed to me "I'm really sorry." Thank you sir for being kind in such an unkind...

Spouse & I walked in off the street in the early afternoon. Happy hour doesn't start until 4pm but with 5 minutes away, they went ahead & let us order happy hour drinks. We had the Tuna Aguachile as the appetizer. It was strips of raw tuna in a marinating lemon sauce with slices of avocado & tiny strips of cucumber. It was very refreshing, but not spicy at all. Daniel the waiter brought a sliced load of sweet corn bread with the appetizer. It was really good but more like cake. I bet it's great for breakfast with coffee.
I ordered the Steak Churasco, which came with delicious mashed potatoes & grilled vegetables. I asked for chimichurri sauce on the side. The steak was halfway sliced & it came in two pieces, more than I could eat, so a good value for $20. It was really tender & I'm sure it didn't need the chimichurri sauce, but I love the stuff. Mashed potatoes were really really good, as we're the grilled vegetables. This dish is not for a bad heart or someone on a diet, but thoroughly enjoyable.
Spouse ordered the Seed Crust Ahi, which came with sunflower seeds crusted on it & it was delicious. It came with corn tamal (a kind of rough ground corn meal) in a husk & a medley of sauteed pigeon peas & tamarind legumes, both of which were very good. It was a much healthier plate.
The drinks were very good. The Texan mojito, sweet, the spicy mojito wasn't too spicy, & the caipirinha was strong. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive & even gave us extra bread when we asked for a to go container. We enjoyed our dinner and it's definitely worth returning....
