A friend of mine recommended this gym to me. Given the hours i was working at the time, it was super convenient for me given that it is open 24 hrs.

Upon signing up, i met one of the trainers named Lauren. She was extremely helpful, informative, and made singing up quick and easy. She showed me around the gym and gave me information on services they offer like training sessions and also other things like supplements they offer such as energy drinks, protein shakes, and pre-workout. Very professional.

Powerdise is very clean and well maintained with nice equipment for use as well. The next few months went well as i would go during late hours when no one was there and kept to myself.

Then one night, i went to start my routine as per usual and was aggressively approached by someone asking me for my name and phone number. i was under the impression it was someone who worked there, so i cooperated. After running my information, they saw i did in fact have a membership at the gym. This employee's name is Logan. His reasoning for the approach was "well i havent seen you here before, so i just wanted to make sure you were a member."

Firstly, given the hours i was there, i needed a key fob to enter the building which i would not have possessed if i did not have a membership. Secondly, it came off as extremely rude and unprofessional for Logan to have approached me in his manner without introducing himself or explaining why he was asking for my information. I guess he was working after hours because i had never seen him there at that time. During my work out that night, i felt as if he were watching me which made me uncomfortable thus leading to me calling the night early. I took the next few days off just in case he would be there the rest of the week.

A few months later my work schedule changed which resulted in me to start going to the gym earlier. Because of this, I met some of the other trainers like Jesse and Tiffany. Upon meeting and getting to know them, i have known them to be very knowledgeable and professional. In addition to that, they are extremely kind and friendly. When they are in the gym, the environment becomes more comfortable, and the atmosphere is filled with positivity.

Unfortunately, i had to cancel my membership recently. When i called to cancel i spoke with Logan. He informed me i would have a 30-day cancelation period where i would get charged again for the membership but would no longer be getting charged after. I had no issue with that and thought that would be the end of it. 30 days passed and i was charged once again. I had the misfortune of calling and speaking with Logan again. He was rude and wasn't being very helpful. He tried explaining to me i was being charged again after the 30 days because i didn't call soon enough the previous time, which wasn't true. Given his record, i wasnt going to argue and decided to reach out to others to help me with this issue. Tiffany was kind enough to help me and get that taken care of. That has been the entirety of my experience with Powerdise.

Overall, this is an excellent gym. The cleanliness is spectacular. The gym has nice quality and assortment of equipment for working out. Most of the trainers i met are very helpful and knowledgeable. In addition to being Very friendly with positive energy which is essential to help motivate their members.

The only negative feedback i have is that their trainer Logan has proven time and again to be ridiculously unprofessional. He does things like makes inappropriate posts on their instagram page, makes inappropriate comments towards members (women especially), and lacks proper professional communication skills. Although Logan is clearly not fit for this fine establishment, i will not let him alone be the reason why i give this place a less than average...

During my time of being with Powerdise gym it has been okay. This is due to there being proper equipment for a good workout, but it is mostly tailored to powerlifting. You can still get a good session if you are not planning to take part in powerlifting training. A perk is that there are normal weighted plates and also kilo plates. There is a decent platform for deadlifting as well as adjustable squat racks for different heights. The place itself is clean mostly. There are wipes to clean equipment after use and towels. There are good trainers at this gym such as Tiffany and Jesse. They are the best and truly care for their clients. I’ve been with them for going to be two years and have qualified as pro status in lifting being able to compete in the well known,”Olympia” event. Also have won first place in every competition besides Olympia. Being that completing all this in my first year of powerlifting. If you put in the hard work Tiffany and Jesse will go over the top to help you achieve your goal. They also have credibility and have achieved great things in the lifting and physique community.

As far as the other trainers, in all honestly there are some not so great ones. To name such as Logan, I’ve heard and seen from numerous clients all the unnecessary remarks he makes that are sexist and inappropriate. He is one of the co owners for this gym and there is a line of professional because you are a gym owner and just not taking this seriously. Especially once you start mixing drama into this environment that is not okay. Also making majority of the females feel uncomfortable by making sexual remarks to them and you yourself being married or plainly just staring while they try to workout is a no go. Or talking behind clients backs to other trainers, yeah no that’s not how this works. This isn’t a soap box or just a female complaining on the internet. Male clients have also noticed these issues with this gym as well. There is another trainer that also gossips about clients. As well as injuring some clients. It also shows that most of the clients in the gym belong to certain trainers that are consistent. But that is anywhere there are the good workers and the not so great. But don’t fret the not so great trainers are not at the gym most of the time chances of seeing them are slim to none. If you come to this gym ask for Tiffany and Jesse they are the best at this gym as well as two other male trainers and another female trainer named Nancy. I really like this gym. The trainers are fantastic, especially Tiff and Jesse. They are very experienced and knowledgeable. They've really helped me get my strength back safely after having surgery. They make training fun too. I love my workouts with them. The equipment is decent, though some of it is starting to wear out and needs maintained/replaced. They've got great stuff for powerlifting, even kilos and a deadlift platform for competition training. The gym gets a bit messy at times, they need to clean it more often. They need to hire folks who know what they're doing; you can tell where the bad DIYs are at. My main issue with the gym is the management. At one point, they increased the monthly membership cost without telling anyone. One of the owners makes me feel very uncomfortable when he's around, and I'm not the only one that feels that way. He has said some very inappropriate things, even for gym talk. He has been judgmental and loudly voices his opinion when no one asks for it. He even had a gun in the gym at one point, which makes me even more wary of him. I would give this place 5 stars if not for him.

EDIT: Upgrading from 3 stars to 5 The gym is now under new management and the major problem is gone! The atmosphere of the gym is 10x better and the new owner is actually investing in the place. The place is much cleaner now. He's done some minor reno and bought some really cool new machines. I'm very happy...
