I would give minus stars if I could. I was rarely able to ever talk with someone friendly at this pharmacy. The worst was once, when the pharmacist was about to give me the wrong medicine and only because I compared exactly the prescription with the package, I was able to notice it. My recent problem of this week: A month ago I tried to cancel a prescription in the app, it said cancel, but it didn’t work. So my credit card was charged and I found the medicine in front of my door. This Tuesday, so about a month later I drove to Walgreens and I requested to cancel the prescription, I wanted to be sure that the prescription is canceled. Calling takes always a long waiting time and lots of time after waiting the connection gets interrupted. The person at Walgreens pharmacy said to me in person that the prescription is canceled. (But first it was again if misunderstanding, I said cancel please and she said she requested refill asap. I said again, please cancel and then she confirmed, she canceled). One day later I get again the message that the prescription is getting refilled. So again I canceled it in the app. Yet another day later, my credit card was charged again and the medicine delivered at my door. I called at Walgreens and I spoke with the pharmacist on duty and she was very rude and hang up the phone on me while I was talking. Whatever I said was twisted and it was all a missunderstanding. I felt very disrespectfully treated. So I called again and I asked to talk with her manager, but for now as she is the pharmacist, she was the only one I could talk with, but she said she will ask her boss to give me a call later today, when she will be in the office. But when I asked when I can expect the call, she said that her boss is not working today and she doesn’t know, when she will be back in the office. This is just so sad and very disappointing and such a lost of time. In my opinion they should help people and it was completely unnecessary that already at 7:20 am I was treated so disrespectfully. I told her, it was rude of her to hang up the call on me, while I was talking. She said she did not, and I have even thanked her and then she hang up. I am in shock and outraged. This was definitely NOT the conversation I had. I wish it...
Read moreOk so I have been coming here for over a year and just today saw these reviews.
Most of them while they are right the the wait can be long it’s not because the staff is lazy or not trying.
I mean just get out of your head and watch the staff. They are all frantically trying to fulfill your orders.
There are phone call orders, counter orders then the ones who seem to complain the most are too lazy to walk into the store and are outside sitting in the comfort of their car and yet we complaining the most! I see it here in these reviews and have seen it many times while I was inside waiting in line. When there you can here them whining and yelling (like that works!) at the staff.
There are multiple registers so if one person is a problem order that will take a while they are told to wait while the rest in the line get serviced. If you are choosing the wait in your car option then if one person becomes a long wait type then you are stuck waiting behind them. I have seen this many times and believe me they will not leave their spot in line and will just make you wait behind them.
Yeah the place is busy and the staff are doing all they can with what they are provided to get the job done and serve you well. If you want you can complain to management and see if they can expand the dept and give more support to the working staff. It come on the place is open 24/7 with just one break from 1am till 2am. A thin long I learned today when checking their hours.
Let me tell you at 7:55 am there are no lines but yet the staff is crazy busy filling orders to satisfy you impatient people who grip about waiting when you come to collect your prescriptions.
Today I found Caroline & Eddy doing their level best to get their work done.
A word of advice about dealing with service providers.
Yelling solves nothing and will not make them want to help you out anymore then they are already trying to do.
But a little, just a little kindness just might move that needle in your favor.
The golden rule...
Read moreWow, yeah. I don't even know where to begin. I had a 3:45pm appointment for some vaccines. You are not allowed to check in at the pharmacy window, you have to check in at the consultation window (I found that out after standing in the pharmacy line for 20 minutes) no signage to point me in the right direction.
When I got to the consultation line, the line of people was 9 people long (I had PLENTY of time to count). The line didn't move at all for another 20 minutes. When the line did start moving it took around 10-12 minutes for each person in line to be taken care of. It took so long that customers were leaving the line and going to other pharmacies that had walk in vaccinations.
Fast forward about an hour and twenty minutes (the line is now two isles long) and I finally reach the front. It was then that I realized the cause of the wait. Felix, the gentleman assisting everyone, moved like he was made of porcelain, he spoke but just low enough so that it was extremely difficult to hear him. With his head hung down he proceeded to ignore everything I said and pushed buttons on the keyboard and stared at his screen for 7 to 8 minutes without typing or moving. When he finally did move it was to hand me paperwork that I had submitted online, that took 5 minutes of explanation.
Next was my insurance card and approval, this was apparently the most challenging piece of checking me in as it took around 10 minutes to complete, including the long walk to staple the paperwork together.
When I finally reached the nurse that was giving the vaccinations, a full two hours after my appointment was for, she was quick and friendly.
I was chatting with the woman that was behind me in line and she noted that after I left the window Felix took a break, she said her entire check in process took 3 minutes.
Inefficiency abounds. It really makes me wonder if Felix was reading everyone's entire history to entertain himself.
Avoid this pharmacy...
